    Really nice camera; well built and heavy. Picture quality is perfectly adequate. For the $100 price, it’s a solid camera if you are in the Nest ecosystem. Unlike the new outdoor/battery cameras (which I also have), this unit records 24/7 video vs just event history. If you aren’t in the Nest ecosystem, there are cheaper alternatives that offer the same video quality and similar features. Also note, annoyingly (and this has nothing to do with the camera itself) Google’s migration from the Nest app to Google Home isn’t complete, and this camera isn’t compatible with the Nest app, which impacts the user experience for those who already have older Nest products.

    Added this camera to my already existing nest eco system, works really well just know that it does not work with the NEST APP (which is disappointing) you have to use the google app now

    Good quality camera but seems to be hard to access videos sometimes and knocks out internet.

      Hi aspears1935, we appreciate your feedback that the Nest Cam (indoor, wired) is of good quality, and we’re sorry to learn of your difficult experience with accessing videos, and with its connectivity.

      A range issue or wireless interference can cause your camera to disconnect from your Wi-Fi. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away. You may also check for objects such as mirrors and refrigerators between the camera and your router as these items could block the connection.
