    Perfect, I purchased 4 of them. Each one gives great pictures every time. I also use the doorbell and I have the speakers and hubs. I recommend the Google collection to all who ask what kind of camera is once they see the pictures.

    The installation was very easy and straight forward. This Nest Cam has very clear video in room light and very clear video in darker conditions. Fit right in with my Google Home App, BUT was surprised that it could not be viewed in Google Nest App. I understand from Google that they will be discontinuing Google Nest.

      Hey there, WilliamB! Thanks for your feedback on Nest Cam (indoor, wired). We’re glad that you like the video quality, and that the installation went easy for you. We hear your concern about its app integration.

      We understand that longtime Nest users enjoy viewing their camera feeds from the Nest app. However, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app. We’re working on bringing full functionality to the Home app as we want to create an integrated experience with other Nest and smart home devices. And while the new Nest cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Google Home app, users with previous versions of Nest cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Doorbell and Nest Cams.

      We’re continuing to support the Nest app, as well as to deliver critical security updates and software fixes and owners like you shouldn’t notice any difference with your service. Google commits to bring users the same feature and software support you’ve always had. However, we made the difficult decision to stop support for Nest Secure and Dropcam (starting April 8, 2024.). We will also officially end Works with Nest as of September 29, 2023.
