    Camera's not bad, It seems to lose its connection often and the battery life is not that good. Never mind it's overpriced.

    Overall I like the camera. It was easy to setup. Video is of good quality on my iPhone. Issue I have is Google has blocked the ability’s to stream to another device, like a TV. The Nest doorbell camera is allowed to stream

    I have this in my garage it's my 3rd nest cam I have 2 wireless ones outside, works great picks up noise before the video does which is great and send an alert early on easy to use with the home app

    Does what you need it to do, but a bit pricy when compared to the blink tilt+pan camera since it is stationary. Currently using it in my nursery for its connection to the google cast device.

    camera is a bit pricey and did not work as expected. was a bit hard to set up the camera and only worked intermittently.

    Not as good as the original, the original nest cam app is superior. The old app you can much more easily scroll through your sight line time lapse. At least the hardware is cheaper.

      We understand that longtime Nest users enjoy viewing their Nest camera feeds from the Nest app, however, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app. Our teams are working on enabling the ability to set up and control older Nest cameras in the Home app so users will have one app to control all of their devices, and we’re working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app as we want to create an integrated experience with other Nest and smart home devices.

    Surprised to find that the video quality is worse than a camera costing 1/3 as much. Must manually adjust the view. Frequently loses connection to wifi but reconnects quickly in most cases. There are times it must be rebooted to work properly. The good thing about this cam is it does stream from the Google nest hub max easily. I do not recommend it unless you are deep in the google ecosystem

      A range issue or wireless interference can affect the overall performance of your camera. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away. You may also check for objects such as mirrors and refrigerators between the camera and your router as these items could block the connection.       Also, you can adjust your cameras’ video quality that can improve the resolution. The higher the video quality setting you choose, the sharper and more detailed your footage can be, but it also uses more of your internet bandwidth. This setting lets you choose the maximum video quality for your cameras. And whichever level you pick, your camera will automatically adjust its resolution and compression according to how much bandwidth is available. You can visit the Google Nest Help Center to learn more on how to change the video quality.

    I purchased this camera to keep an eye on my pups. It was nice have the peace of mind. Then I needed to hire a dog sitter. Having the camera let me keep an eye on the dogs and how they were being taken care of! Great view. Great clarity. Hooks up to google home with an ease.

      Delayed notifications can be caused by several reasons such as Wi-Fi network congestion, wireless interference with other Wi-Fi hotspots or devices nearby, and other Wi-FI settings. We suggest checking your mobile phone’s network connectivity, rebooting your Nest Cam (indoor,wired) or doing a factory reset.

    Bright pink corrupted video -- unusable

    The image quality degrades and becomes bright pink after the camera has been powered on for 12-24 hours. Support claimed it was overheating, but it's in a north-facing Window that never gets sun at any time during the day. It's indoors at 69F and 45% humidity. Replaced the camera and same issue with the new unit. Never had this problem with other products used in the same location. Will return it and try something else.

      if your camera or doorbell’s video looks bad, but it has a good Wi-Fi connectionand is not exposed to direct sunlight, this can happen if your camera gets too hot or too cold, and can be avoided by these:
      - Avoid placing your camera near objects that can cause overheating like light bulbs, lamps, large equipment/appliances, air vents, etc. Your camera needs good air circulation. Never install it in any kind of small box or enclosure as this can cause overheating.
      - Your doorbell/camera's video might also have a pink, blue or purple hue if there's a problem with the Night vision. You can check this link to learn more about the night vision video quality: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9259738

    Nice packaging and well designed physical product, but that's where it ends. You cannot use the "Nest" android app with this camera, so if you're like me with a Nest wired doorbell and outdoor nest cameras, you can't have them all in one app. This camera requires you to use the Google "Home" app, which is garbage in my opinion. Doesn't have nearly close to the same usability as the Nest app does. Also, you can no longer have multiple cameras on different Wifi networks on the same Aware account.
