Performance is very good and setup is not tough. They have discontinued the nest aware subscription and you need to use google home app.

Alternatively, you also have the Nest Aware Plus option, where you get all the features on the basic Nest Aware subscription, plus 60 days of Event video history and up to 10 days of continuous video recording at $12/month or $120/year (save $24 annually). It's possible to rotate your camera using the Google Home app. It's quite easy, here's how:
- Open the Google Home app.
- On the home screen, tap your camera.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Video.
- Go to Rotate image 180 and tap the switch to turn it on or off.

New Google cameras are useless without Nest access

I only bought this camera thinking it would work with my other Google / Nest cameras on the Nest app and website. Google has made sure that we can no longer use this and future cameras in conjuction with previous cameras on the Nest app and website. You are now only allowed to use these cameras on the sub-par Google Home app and no website access. Using Google Home for the cameras is terrible and almost useless. I would never buy these cameras again until Google can actually match the Nest app and website but they are a long ways away at this point and time. I am terribly disappointed in this purchase.

Read description - yes, it doesn’t work on the nest app. You must use the google home app. Don’t waste your time on the negative 1 star reviews because of the app. It’s a great camera.
