Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired) comes with a 2-megapixel color sensor that has HDR support, and can record up to 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution at 30 frames/sec. However, if you see a lesser video quality than what is prescribed, we recommend checking for possible congestion in your network, or that your bandwidth may not be sufficient. Removing some of your connected devices may help relieve some bandwidth space, and you may check if you still experience any drop with the video quality. Verifying congestion may require you to contact your Internet service provider to check your connection and upgrade it if needed.

While the design of the camera is nice, the image quality is so so (no difference from my Dropcam Pro), and there are many downsides: -you have to use the Google home app, which is much more limited than the Nest App -unable to use my existing Nest Aware subscription with this camera. I have Nest Aware Gen 1 which records 24/7 and I only have one Nest cam at my house, and this can’t be transferred to the new camera.

Our priority is giving our customers choice and making devices for every home, and we’re continuing to support the Nest App. New Nest cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience. Users with older cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Doorbell and Nest Cams. Our team is working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app, so all of your cameras can be set up and controlled in one place. Also, using the Google Home app provides you with a lot of benefits including access to Google's trusted security platform and access to other Google tools and with seamless integration with other Google devices.

THEY DID NOT. The newer hub won't work at all unless you give it full permission to have full control of your computer as in letting it read, write, delete your emails and view all your phots, messages, and it sounds like I said before, take control of your computer. Thank you government.
