The camera quality is excellent with very little lag, nightvision enables quickly as lights dim and brighten, and the audio pick-up and mic are fantastic!

I have the Nest app and have 2 cameras (from 2017) that still work great. I thought since it’s a 2nd generation that I could use Google Home app to set it up. Not so. I get the message that I have to migrate my Nest account. Birds migrate. Butterflies migrate. Now my app migrates too. What does that really mean in laymen’s talk not IT talk. I don’t want to lose what I see in my Nest app so I haven’t set up this camera yet.

If you migrate your Nest Account to a Google Account, your experience of your Nest home and products will change. Migration is optional, and once completed, is not reversible, so it’s important to understand the changes that migration will bring before you start. Powerful little camera at a good price

It works seamlessly with the Google app and has a crystal clear picture for a camera priced at this level. I highly recommend it!

Easy setup and connection. Had everything running in just a few minutes. Would not suggest letting Best Buy deliver via Shipt. Shipt is AWEFUL. Said it would be delivered on Tuesday, didn't get delivered until Wednesday. Tracking kept showing picked up and on its way. I would have been better off to pick up at the store.

The video quality is excellent, even in low light, and the two-way audio works great for communicating with family or pets. Setup was simple through the Google Home app, and I love the real-time alerts and activity history. It gives me peace of mind when I'm away from home. Definitely recommend it!

The image quality is much clearer, and the integrated microphone offers significantly better sound and range compared to previous models. My only suggestion is to include 4K resolution in future versions for improved zoom and detail.

It dont take like a bunch of space where you can put it an hide it from other , naaa that was easy to hide

This is perfect for use in garages or backyards where you have a cover and an outlet nearby. Installation is simple and integration with the Google Home app is practically automatic. The night vision and motion detection sensors are excellent.

The problem I have with the new Nest cameras is you can't open them in the Nest App. The NestApp was so simple, one step, open the app and all the cameras are visible. Now you have to opengoogle home, then select cameras, then you can veiw them. That ia not so bad, but the Nest app also includes the Nest thermostat. For me, the old Nest app was more user friendly.

We’re aware that longtime Nest users enjoy viewing their Nest camera feeds from the Nest app. However, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app. Our teams are working on enabling the ability to set up and control older Nest cameras in the Home app so users will have one app to control all of their devices, and we’re working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app as we want to create an integrated experience with other Nest and smart home devices. While the new Nest cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Google Home app, users with previous versions of Nest cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Doorbell and Nest Cams.

They still worked but won't be supported anymore on the app. So, we love these cameras. Obviously they last a long time. Just a little sad the old ones are being phased out. That said, the new cameras have a much better picture quality.
