I purchased these cameras because they add peace of mind, especially at an apartment complex and the fact that I am home only on weekends. it makes it very nice to be able to view them at any given time so that way I know what is going on

If you're already part of the Google/Nest Home ecosystem, then this is definitely the camera for you. I have two properties that I monitor, 500 miles apart. I previously used Arlo battery-powered cameras connected to solar panels. Both cameras suffered the same hardware failure after less than two years of service and I replaced them with these. What a difference. I changed the monitoring location to a more sheltered area where these camera could be plugged into AC mains all the time (as they must be). That solved all the environmental problems I used to have with the Arlos' batteries being either too hot or too cold to charge properly. That also solved the problem of having to do hard resets with battery pulls. I also experienced a 7-second-plus lag when monitoring the Arlo cameras, both locally and at the remote location. With these Nest cameras, it's less than a second, effectively negligible. The video quality is superb. The data throughput is peerless. And finally, the facial, object and motion recognition is both more accurate and less prone to false notifications. You can designate familiar faces, so that you don't have to check the video feed every time you get an alert. You simply get an alert that says "Your annoying neighbor Cletus detected on Front Door camera." (Don't have to check the feed.) Or, "unfamiliar face detected." (DO have to check the feed.) In short, a tremendously reliable, fast, useful camera. Highly recommended.

Had to get a couple of these to replace my old drop cams because they're no longer supported, wasn't really thrilled with them at first, but between the easy set up, the crystal clear picture quality, and getting used to the app, I highly recommend these

Great cameras, simply setup. Now that they've moved to one price for the entire house, no matter how many NEST cameras you have, it's pretty good value. What makes NEST a lot better than the other brands is the 24/7 recording. RING cameras only record 30s which isn't enough time.

We wanted a little piece of mind when we left our dog home alone for extended periods of time. This indoor camera is perfect! We love the talk and listen feature. The home and away settings are very easy to set up, and it’s great to have a camera that integrates right into our Google Home.

has a wide view and really reliable to track the movements that want to be recorded. lets you turn it off on the app and has a speaker option where u can speak off the camera when youre away. if u wanna save all recordings you do have to subscribe to a google membership for it. but all my google cameras pay for 1 subscription so its pretty neat.

I have two Nest Cams for indoor use. For both of them, the Auto setting for night vision is not reliable. I have to continually go to the settings and turn night vision off, then turn Auto on again. Basically, the Auto feature is not Auto at all and I have to do this daily on both cameras (in different structures and on different networks). I have read reviews from others with this same issue where they did a factory reset of the camera and still had the issue, so seems to be a camera and/or software bug. Other than this, I am completely satisfied with everything else.

This system is very easy to set up, the cameras are great quality and there are no connection or disconnection issues. Previously had a Lorex system that I spent $1,000 on and it was horrible it was constantly disconnecting from the internet and so unreliable. I have 5 of these cameras and I’ve never once had an issue with the cameras. It’s so great when something actually works! They also have a good look.

plug and play. Very simply to add to google home, great quality, worth the price

Easy to connect to the Google home app. It has started connected and I've been able to access it everytime I've tried.

I have a two other nest cameras and three thermostats around my house, love the products. But this camera wouldn’t allow me to add it to my nest app for a one stop easy access. I would buy again if it was my first purchased camera, easy to set up and great quality.

East installation and setup on the App. The picture quality is great and the hardware looks clean on the wall. Highly recommend.

The company that manufactured my Dad's home security cameras decided to make their cloud-based remote viewing capability obsolete, and after a workaround I discovered also stopped working, it was time to upgrade to something simpler with higher quality video, and these Nest cams did the trick and more.
