Looks and feels great. Image quality is solid, but you may see issues with staying connected. Home app requied and isnt able to be seen in the Nest app. Which is a shame as the controls in the Google home app are trash.

Here are some recommended steps you can try out and see if it might be helpful with the connectivity issues:
- Check for possible congestion in your Wi-Fi network. Removing some of your connected devices can help free up some bandwidth space. You may then check to see if you will still experience the same connectivity issue.
- Check for possible sources of interference such as the thick walls and appliances in your home.
We wanted to make the Google Home app as the one place where you can control all your favorite Nest devices and other smart home devices with the Google Assistant. Here are some benefits you can get by using the Google Home app with your Nest Cam (Battery):

Great camera with quality mic and speaker

The previous device would constantly disconnect from our home network due to signal issues. This one has had zero issues since being set up. Something we couldn’t be more thankful for when trying to keep an eye on our little one.

We bought this to watch our cats while away. The picture is crystal clear and the night vision is great. I talked to the people caring for our cats easily, they understood us and I them and they were across the room. Overall we are very happy with the wired.

Easy to add to the Google Home app (although I preferred the Nest app-better UI.) would've given it 5 stars but the design is horrible. Like the old streamlined black design w/a much lower profile.
