    Much better image quality than the original versions. Easier to wall mount too. The app is disappointing especially with rewinding to see previous events, it's very finicky.

    Works for what we need it to do. We have it installed in a vacation home and connected to the Google Home Hub. Lets me see what's going on inside the house. We don't have it connected to a "security system" or anything like that. But with the Google Home app I can see if anything is going on in the house. The picture is fine

    This camera serves just for peace of mind whenever we leave the house for a long period of time. Happy it can detect the slightest of movements and people passing by (good feature to save the names of people based on their faces). Very happy with this purchase!

    The Google Home app can finally do scheduling so we can set times for our cameras to go on and off. This was a functionality we sorely missed from NEST when Google acquired that company and was transitioning their products to their own app. Very happy now.

    Great and fantastic camera but why does it not have a feature to alert you when there is sound like a dog barking but the nest hub max has that feature. Makes no sense. I want this feature as my dog likes to bark and would like to know when he is doing it

      Hello DakO, thank you for posting your review. We're sorry to learn that your experience with Nest Cam (indoor, wired) has been less than ideal when it comes to notifying you with sound alerts. Be advised that with a Nest Aware subscription, you can send different alerts for different sounds. Your Nest Cam can tell the difference between a person speaking and a dog barking. You can pick which sounds you want to get alerts about and which ones your camera should ignore.
