    This is second Google nest cam purchased but for some reason this one was more difficult to connect. Connected to Google Home after several tries, but am still unable to connect to my Nest app for some reason. Have not been able to get any assistance on how to connect other than telling me I have to delete all current settings in my nest app and then recreate the app by adding each product. That seems to be a very clumsy and inefficient process. Only reason lower rating is provided is because the quality of the product itself and the functionality with the current Google app is very good. Main issue is with synching and adding to Nest application.

      The new Nest Cam (indoor, wired) is exclusive to the Home app .Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, as well as Google Assistant. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Users with older cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Cams. Our team is working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app so all of your cameras can be set up and controlled in one place.

    dislike it because problems connection to nest wifi could be a wifi problem. Sometimes screen goes black after motion sensor. Good for price. Works great.

      Hi Catglasses, thanks for your insights. We´re sorry to hear that you disliked Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired) because of the connectivity issue with your Nest Wifi, and that the screen goes black right after the motion sensor is activated.

      The issue is most likely related to an insufficient bandwidth on your network, which may be caused by a possible congestion. Removing some of your connected devices may help free up some bandwidth space and enable you to test and see if you get a better connection between Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired) and your Nest Wifi network. Once you verify congestion, we recommend contacting your Internet service provider to check your network and upgrade your bandwidth if needed.

    The Google Nest Cam was a great addition to my Nest doorbell. Setting up the camera was easy. Quality if great, I have only had it for a short period of time, so far I am happy with the camera as it has met my expectations.

    You need good wifi, it will glitch if you don`t. It works great but if you want more than 4hrs of playback you will need the subscription.

    I have two and they are good quality as far as video whether day or night but I have a problem where sometimes they just say connection problem even though they will still display a warning if the see someone. I am guessing it’s more of a problem with my wifi but still cannot figure it out.

    I am so happy with this camera and it's performance that I ended up purchasing a 2nd one and hoping they go on sale again so that I can purchase a 3rd one. It works seamlessly with the Google app and has a crystal clear picture for a camera priced at this level. I highly recommend it!
