Expensive, but very well designed security cameras. I've got 5 Nest Cams (both IQ non-IQ outdoor cams) and a Nest Doorbell that provide coverage around my home. They have good optics, reliably stream footage, and stay connected. You need good WiFi -- I like the Eero Pro system.

I've said several times that our house is smart home integrated, and this camera is our outdoor monitoring tool. Install was simple and day/night vision is great. The camera actually broke shortly after Install and google support replaced it and we're back in business.

This camera has been great for the month I have used it! It was easy to set up and stays connected to wi-fi without any trouble. The picture is great and the microphone is clear and loud. My only complaint is that it doesn't recognize rain. I get a ton of notifications when it rains.

This camera has a very god resolution and good zoom in but the set up is difficult. Trying to add a second camera is difficult because a fail communication between cameras. My workaround was adding a second home in the same location. I returned one camera because I did not know this trick which is not advised in the instructions.

I really enjoy how the nest camera has continuous recording. There has been several events that I wanted to look at the before and after and I was able to with the camera I like the concept that “ring” company has with their flood light and wish Nest offered the same but for security nest seems to be the only solution ... I have owned the ring doorbell before and it was nice but it only covered my front door and at my new house a doorbell camera will not work because the doorbell view is obstructed by my garage The only negative that I have about the nest is when it comes to the software; I do not like the fact that there is no way to pause what you’re viewing online .. that seems like a simple fix and I know this is not the first time someone has complained about it My Best Buy experience was also good! There is a 15 day return policy and my camera went on sale after the 15 days but within 30 days ... technically Best Buy did not have to honor the sale price match but they did I’m very grateful because it saved me $50 plus tax

We have Nest everything already. We've added these cameras to compliment the system we already have in place. Currently, the Nest company is being brought back under the wing of the main Google company. During this transition period, we've noticed some false notifications including incorrect facial recognition and more alerts about motion and people when nothing was present. It should be noted that these false notifications are present in our other cameras that we previously purchased as well, so it's definitely a system problem and not an issue with these cameras specifically. I believe these issues will be corrected as the transition completes. Quality is great. Ease of installation was simple. Just make sure you have enough cable to make it to the outlet you intend to use. The speaker is VERY loud. We use it to yell at our dogs when they are barking or biting at the fence to get to the neighbor's dogs and it works very well. Overall, I would recommend these cameras. I would in fact recommend the entire line of Google Nest products. Just be aware that as the company transitions over to Google, there may be some hiccups along the way.

Self install was simple with the guidance of the included video on the app! Picture/video and audio qualities are amazing. The nest aware service is a nice addition. The Self tracking and zooming in on moving people was an awesome surprise when reviewing the video feed for the first tine.

Crisp clear video and sound, easy install but it's a bit pricey

Bought it for the front of my house. Works great. Had everything needed in the box. Quick and easy set up with the nest app. I can set notifications on what I'd like to get; things up my drive way and not as important like cars going back and forth down the road.

The camera works well. I have it mounted on my detached garage and can see anyone who enters my driveway. I like that it zooms in on people, but it does do this in a bit of a delay which may be due to my slow internet. I also like that I can talk through it. I like that I dont have to worry about batteries.

First outdoor security camera I’ve owned, and I’m quite impressed. The wide viewing angle, high resolution and range, and easy setup make for a great product and experience. Add in Google Home integration, and you’re set for your home monitoring needs.

Love these cameras. I don't get a lot of useless notifications like other cameras I have owned in the past. You can really customize what notifications you want to receive and when you want. These cameras also have a zoom feature to enhance the image from far away.

For a larger home I like these because they connect to WiFi rather than a base unit like some other brands. I'm not a fan of having a subscription and no local storage option. I learned that the cameras are pretty useless without a subscription. At night the cameras are terrible when it comes to getting a clear shot of moving objects. It is best to have a motion light to help brighten things up so you don't get ghosting of moving figures. The two-way audio is really good, but I don't use it much because of the delay in alerts. By the time you get the app open it is just too late. The build quality is rock solid and doesn't feel cheap at all like some other competitors. I think the only thing missing, besides local storage, is the unit having a spotlight to improve the night vision.

Cameras provide a very excellent video of my backyard and driveway. You do have to pay a reasonable fee to store images on cloud. But have to be careful as they do use up data, especially if one has a limited data plan and a tendency to constantly review what's happening around the premises.

Very easy to install not many parts to worry about. Good quality picture / video. I gave it a three star rating due to the subscription. If you need one camera or two this will work for you. When you have five or six cameras it can get expensive with the subscription and the purchase of the cameras. They need to have a more affordable plan for those who have more then two cameras. It cost $50 / year for your first camera and any additional cameras cost $30/ year. This plan is only for five days video playback. It gets more expensive if you want thirty days video playback. In the long period of time your subscription will be very expensive. There are other video surveillance cameras that have good quality video and no subscription but installing them can be a pain. If you don’t mind putting in the work go with a a more affordable and no subscription system.

Great camera easy to install. Great picture quality

This camera surprised me after I hooked it up. I've personally used quite a few security camera systems. This camera has easily 10x the picture. thats even before you zoom in and then have it focus. I love it. Thanks to everyone at best buy, and at nest for developing such a great product.

Long-time Nest user, not sure why they IQ series never has really taken off...they work fantastic. I imagine it's the price sticker, which is a bit...high, to be mild. Still, I just needed one, and it does suit my environment perfectly. Thank you.
