I was a little bit worry about buying this camera. After a week of use I fell in love with it bet camera ever well recommended it.

These cameras are used in a fairly harsh outdoor area with no complaints so far. Really nice picture and very clear sound.

The Nest cams are great, they are easy to mount and configure. The app works well, the alerts can be toggled Of and On so you only get the alerts necessary.

One of the best cameras on the market great viewing angles and crisp video day or night the only thing I don’t agree with is the pricy subscription.

Good product for the price picture quality is great sometimes loses connection to wifi but i think thats just the service in my area causing that.

Highly recommend this camera! It's a great camera and has great images (even in the dark), best for outside.

The nest IQ camera is great. Once installed it proved to be reliable and the image quality is superb. It is expensive but well worth the money.

Google Nest makes setup so easy eith the app. Step by step instructions are built right into the app. Very happy.

Cameras work great (as advertised). Video quality is excellent (night and day) and the Nest app on the phone works awesome.

To take full advantage of the cameras, the recording setting should be set to high resolution. Otherwise, there is no point in buying a camera with such capability. At this setting, each camera needs about 4 Mbps upload speed. I currently have an internet plan that is 60Mbps download speed and 5Mbps upload speed for about $50/mo. Therefore, to run these cameras, I needed to upgrade my internet plan. The only plan that Xfinity offers that is greater than 10Mbps upload speed (so I have some overhead for other devices) is the gigabit plan. That plan is 1024 Mbps download speed and 35 Mbps upload speed for about $110/month. In order to utilize the gigabit plan, I needed to upgrade my cable modem. This is about $200. Then you need to keep in mind the cameras record 24/7. This means your total monthly usage per camera will be about 400GB. Two cameras along with my other normal device usage will cause me to exceed the 1GB per month cap of Xfinity, so I have to pay an additional $50 per month to have the limit removed. Then there is the Nest Aware plan. The cheapest plan is $5 per month per camera. This brings my monthly out of pocket increase to $60+$50+$10=$120. Then the one time cable modem upgrade of $200. Then the cost of the cameras with tax of $650. Nest really blew this. They could have made this a practical camera system by only uploading when motion is detected like the Arlo Pro 2. These don’t. The only option is 27/7 recording or off. Needless to say, I returned these and will be repurchasing the Arlo Pro 2 camera system I now regret returning.

Best outdoor security camera there is. Happy I updated for the IQ as opposed to the basic nest outdoor camera.

Sure the camera is nice, the price demands it, but what you want is the smart features you would expect with such.....you can no longer use the camera motion detector to turn on a smart light switch via google assistant as the light switches are third party. Used to be able to do it but google clamped down...what better feature than detect motion, turn on lights. What a waste, should have went Alexa and amazon system.

I was hesitant on spending this much on two cameras but it was well worth it. They exceeded my expectations.
