Nest for our nest

It’s nice to not only keep an eye on surroundings but also ensure we can see what exactly happened should someone get hurt in the pool etc. A little peace of mind. The only downside is the length of the power cord. They should sell it with a shorter cord that can be lengthened if needed.

Cable is an odd length with an adapter in the middle between the camera's cable and a cable that plugs into a power outlet. I'd like to have seen one uniform cable from wall to camera that was replaceable and extendable.

I like the way both cameras show up in my Nest app on my phone. Given that this camera is not powered with batteries, needing AC power, it makes installation a bit tricky. And the power cord can not be shortened so you may end up with extra cable that has to be coiled out of the way.

Nice outdoor camera

Nice to be able to check in whenever and from wherever I want. Currently enjoying the free online storage feature; probably will subscribe when it expires. Installation & setup was a piece of cake. The 7/8" hole for the cable was a bit of a pain and my only real complaint. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the purchase.
