Great Support from the Cloud
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Flir camera that had rapid recap and decent replay via the free 30 day cloud service; however, after a week it was almost impossible to see the video through its app. It would not load?? I found other reviews that said the same thing. So... I bought nest cam outdoor and it consistently worked through its app. No problems even after the free 30 day full service!

Great Security, but some faults

A few issues I've had is that it's supposed to continue working regularly and deleting the footage after 3 hrs after the trial month if you don't sign up for the subscription. However, that was not the case we weren't allowed to view any footage, and it was constantly stopping the recording and going "off-line". Since signing up with the subscription we've had no problems.

Wanted to but couldn't

However, while it was inside and near my router, it had excellent camera quality and I loved how I was able to see everything on my phone. I will recommend to those who know they have a long ranged wifi connection or those who are willing to buy wifi extenders.

Frequent disconnects

Would get notifications that it disconnected from my network few times per day. Moved the router to a more central location in the home, and it did improve, but still get random disconnects. Checking signal strength in the app shows good signal. A little disappointed.
