I have owned different surveillance cameras and I wanted to give it a try after reading some "great" reviews for this camera. It isn't worth it, at least for outdoors. What kind of security camera mounts on a magnet!? Thieves can just walk away with them. Constant wifi signal drop was turning me crazy! I have FIOS and the router was no more than 25 feet away and everytime I wanted to check my property there was an issue. Nest app went crazy after adding these cameras. I owned a Yale Lock and the app was just working fine before adding the cameras. Sooo many times, after installing the camera, I had to login over and over and over again. Finally, I made the bad decision of migrating my Nest account to Google :( The app went out of control and started getting constant email notification about wifi dropping, electrical issues, camera disconnected. Wow, I was able to return them, get my money and buy something else way cheaper that I don't have to pay a crazy subscription to be able to store footage of recent events. Bye, Nest Cams!

I bought this camera on 4/23, got it in the mail on 4/25 and did an exchange on 4/26. I exchanged it for another Nest outdoor camara, thinking that maybe this one would work but did not. The camera works great the only thing is that it doesn't work with Android phones. They say it does and it does, the only thing it don't work with Androids is the voice feature. I can hear perfectly but when I try and talk , the sound is so low the only way you could hear it is by putting it right on your ear. I did chat with nest customer service and they helped me troubleshoot it and after 2 days of chatting with them, they send me a replacement and same thing happened, it didn't work either so I just kept my original and sent back the replacement. Nest customer service told me that it was my phone ( Samsung) that didn't work not their camera. I've read on several forums that its a feature on the Nest camara that has the issue with Androids. I did keep the camera but definitely not buying another.

The clarity day and night on this camera is great!

I've had the nest outdoor cam for about a month now and I must say it is working great. The setup was very simple. I had a little trouble setting up the wifi in the spot outside my house. I contacted Nest customer service who did a great job troubleshooting and resolving the issue. This is my 6th nest product in my home. You will not be disappointed in this camera!

Starting to have issue going on three years outside 2 of my 7 outside cameras and I’m sure it’s only time for I have to replace them all. Don’t know a car from a person and at times it think dog barking is someone talking but for time they have work great
