Good camera, easy installation. Captures all kinds of movement, even in the distance. I plan to get another one.

As long as there is a convenient plug-in near where you want to install this camera, it works very well, has good sensitivity - almost too good, I had to work to find a position where it didn't capture part of my street and get records of every car passing by. The magnet base is relatively easy to install. The picture quality is as good as I need it to be, and works well so far in day and night conditions.

Easy to set up. Need an electrical outlet. Should install high up so someone can't steal it easily, as it has a magnetic mount. Subscription is expensive. Only 3 stars because of initial cost & high subscription. BLINK just announced an outdoor camera, which might be a better value, though not yet available.

In short, item is easy setup. Scan the QR code, connect to WiFi and boom. You’ll obviously have to figure out if you’ll need to add outlet etc. wire is kind of long so you might have to figure out how to hide if that bothers you. But with decent WiFi, the video feed is almost instantaneous and has good notifications settings etc.

We've had the cameras installed for about 2 months now. Picture quality is excellent! At times the cameras are a bit too sensitive as we receive notifications a lot during windy weather and when insects get too close to the lens. But, I'd rather have too sensitive than not. Install was easy and we were able to hide the cables pretty easily. Ended up signing up for the cheapest subscription through Nest so we could have access to the "person notifications."

I've owned multiple brands and types of cameras for multiple functions. These Nest Outdoor Cams are the easiest to use and set up. At first, I thought having to actually plug in a camera as opposed to having a rechargeable battery would be a hassle and unsightly, but it has been a positive experience to not have to recharge the batteries every few months.

I had it mounted on the soffit 3 months ago, pointed at the front driveway and it has worked flawlessly since. I get emails/texts when there is a person in the front yard (yes it can tell the difference between a human and a cat) and a little ding to let me know. Colors are true and deep and picture is sharp. I got the $50/year recording package and strongly recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for good security.

These cameras are great and I was lucky enough to catch them on sale. I bought a 2-pack for $238. Installation is super easy and convenient. The camera lens and 1080p resolution looks really good, along with the night vision. My only issue is the software and convenience of sharing your camera. I want all of my cameras in one location, but to share one, I have to share all. A better permission system is my request - then I would give it 5 stars. I'm still happy with the product though.

This is so easy to remove or unplug. No reserve power either. The app is slow to respond. It is built well and looks great. Picture is great and the motion detection is top notch

This camera works flawless, great image, great motion detect and audio works very well. Except, you will need to pay if want the NEST Aware for continuous video history and a few other features. Otherwise you will still get alerts and snapshots. Installation can be tricky, the Camera power cord has a locking feature to an adapter that will require a hole drilled 7/8" in diameter, if you are going to run it through a wall. The Adapter to the actual power plug is a bit bulky as well. Setup with the APP was easy. Good value for the money

I have various Nest products and this is my first outdoor camera. The picture comes through very clear even with my low speed satellite internet. I love the fact that it continuously records so I don't miss any action. Installation was simple (I'm female and was able to install myself), however the cord is visible and what I consider the only drawback. I am waiting to see how the camera performs with the extreme Arizona summer temperatures.

If you want something to capture the front of your house by your door, I would recommend just getting the Nest Hello doorbell (installation's harder, also pricier, but serves more function in a smaller space). I would recommend this camera when you want to see from odd angles outside your house (up high, etc.). Picture quality's pretty good, connection is reliable, and the mic feature is nice. Very easy to install/set-up.

What i like about this product is that it's hard wired, so i don't need to worry about changing the battery. It has zone awareness, so I can set the area that i want it to focus on.

I've own and installed this camera system for about 3 weeks and thus far have NO complaints. Cameras were very easy to install, picture quality is clear and the cameras are very sensitive to movement and sound and I get notifications on my phone when activity is detected. I have a camera set in front and one set in the rear of my home. Now I feel that my home and family are protected .Don't even think about it because I'm watching you!

We love these cameras. This is our 5th purchase. We now have cameras all around our house and can monitor them from our phones. Super easy install, long usb cord, clear picture.

Great camera that works very well. Bought it to compliment our indoor camera and they work flawlessly together. We are very happy and will buy the thermostat in the near future.

I had purchased another camera prior to this and was truly disappointing at its performance. I have been very impressed with other products from Nest, so I thought I'd try them out. These cameras have exceeded my expectations. High quality images and great motion detection! The ability to hear and speak using the camera in live mode has been a feature I didn't much care about but have already used multiple time. I love these cameras.

I bought this to replace an indoor camera looking out the window. at night, it was useless because the ir would glare off the window. this gives me a great night picture out to about fifty feet or so and now I can use the speaker function to yell at the ups guy when he doesnt put the packages out of the weather. it is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

Upon returning a related product that did not work as we wanted, we purchased two nest outdoor cams. Great quality and sound and loads almost instantly when we get an alert.
