I had an electrician install this camera/flood light combo in place of a existing light on the back of our house. The installation seemed to go fairly simple and we were able to adjust the area of coverage to our liking. The u it blends in with the house well. The only downside to this unit is that it does not connect with the Google Nest app but I have already set up with my front doorbell. Instead, it has its own app, Google Home. Hard to believe Google couldn’t have had it connect with the other app. Control over the lighting is great.

I initially used Blink cameras, but they barely recorded and didn't meet my needs. After some research, I decided to invest in Google Nest cameras despite their higher cost. I'm beyond pleased with them and have installed them throughout my home, both inside and out. I would never recommend any other brand.

I love how it is able to differentiate between person, vehicle, or animal 9 out of 10 times (Other 1 of 10 are when it mistaken a bird as a person.) Down side is within the month I got this it became unresponsive twice, because if was in a higher up hard to reach area, I had to let the battery die and basically not have a camera for the few hours. It would be nice to get notifications when it needs to install updates and not randomly when something was happening.

I love this camera! The floodlight is very handy and the video quality is excellent! The facial recognition is very good as well!

We directly wired the Google Net Cam to the back of our shed. It will not stay connect to the power source and constantly drops from the WiFi connect. There seems to be a problem with this one. We have one of the front of our shed that works fine.

Clear video captures people from a far distance and records through their entire movement. Works well at night even when flood lights are off. Sound is great, can hear conversations of neighboors when actively watching the camera which means the mic is pretty intense. Connected easily to my Google Home for easy access.

Better than i expected! Looks good, easy install, great video. I also got a new Chromecast and i can easily view my Nest cameras on my TV.

This product is overpriced and is lacking in functionality. I am very disappointed in the articulation of the lights and camera. The camera housing it self is large for no reason. Also the view angle is very disappointing. I have a small backyard and it only covers a portion like 16'x13'. Come on guys would it kill ya to give us a wide angle camera? The bracket that holds the usb wire to the camera is very cheap. Someone could easily knock the camera of its magnetic base .Also I couldn't get it to work with the nest app . Seems I'm being forced to use the home app. I aslo have the nest door bell, garage and thermostat all work great with the nest app but have to use this product with the home app instead. Make no sense nest app is better for cameras. I would not recommend this product. I only got it because I have other nest products.

Easy to install, though, mine had issues due to my old light having very short wires. Also had a tough time locking the light in place for a bit. Practice before you install. Great lighting. Face recognition works ok. For those who install "upside down," it is not an issue, just flip the video. Works well with my other google products. Still fine-tuning the "zones."

Its not cheap but you get what you pay for. Camera quality is excellent. you can zoom in but does not offer the ability to pan. The microphone can pick up noises from across the street. It is surprisingly sensitive. Contemporary nice light especially if you are already in the google ecosystem. You have to use it with Google Home. Unable to control or view it using the nest app. Wish Google did a better job integrating between its hardware and nests. Excellent customer service. A few times I had questions, submitted a request and got a call back right away and the customer rep was able to help resolve my issues quickly.

Easy setup on app, install and overall. Expensive but appreciate the connectivity and functionality

I really love the camera; we put three in and connecting with our phone was easy. The picture is very clear. We feel more secure. The one thing I didn't like was being a member of Total Tech, being told I would have to pay for a fee for installation,....for each camera. I used a regular electrician and got it done for less than what Best Buy wanted to charge me.

Easy install and great camera quality. Nice not to have to charge a battery.
