I have about 8 nest cameras, and unfortunately 3 of them are newer like this one and thus you have to use the Google home app with them. And that app is just atrocious with the camera integration. Notifications literally come in a day later, you cannot easily review your recorded feed. For example, want to look at what happened 5 minutes ago? Well you have to go to the recorded history, which means yesterday, and then scroll on your phone an entire day ahead, which either takes forever or you got the wrong area on your phone screen an exit by accident. Just a shame Google has totally ruined their cameras with this app. The old nest app is far and away better in all aspects. Don't buy these cameras unless they fix the app or let you use the nest app again.

Night action mode comes through in color when light is active bright very clear video both night and day. Love the face recognition can also be set up to tell you who the person is that it recognizes

I can not view on tv or computer only phone. The google home sucks. The old cameras us nest home. Nest home is much better.

You can only view it on the Google Home app. The other problem is that there is no way to program the lights on a timer or dusk to dawn option.

The new Nest Cam with floodlight is exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience. Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, as well as Google Assistant. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Users with older cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Cams. Our team is working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app so all of your cameras can be set up and controlled in one place.

Great wireless floodlight system

I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. It would be great if it also offered 4K. However, surprisingly, the difference isn't too noticeable.

The pic quality is outstanding and you can talk through it. You will need to sign up for a subscription but the peace of mind is worth it.

Soind is hit or miss. Minus 1 star as I can't find a way to set a daily schedule for the floodlight.

I mounted this at the top of my house overlooking the backyard. Pretty good picture quality but it appears my Nest Hello doorbell has a bed picture quality. Overall solid but a bit pricey

Not a fan of the Nest Google transition though. All my other cameras are on the Nest app and this one is on Google Home. They need to be more integrated on one app.
