Recordings are crisp and mic is very good. The one I have runs normally through hard-line power, but has a battery built in for power outages so it can still get recordings for a bit in those cases.

Not true here. This product is amazing! Easy to install, easy to configure, and works completely. The battery life is also exceptional. If you need an outdoor camera and you don’t have outdoor power available, then buy this. I may buy 2 more!

Im giving it one start because the light works fine and only can watch the live video... again it wont save the videos if you don't pay the subscription

Posted .Hi there, Oldman. Sorry you’re running into trouble setting up your Nest Cam with Floodlight — this seems out of the ordinary. Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
1. Check your camera’s distance to the router: Your camera may be out of range or it may be too close to the router.
2. Restart your camera: When you restart your camera, it will refresh its connection. Instructions depend on what kind of device you have.
3. Restart your router: When you restart your router and modem, it will reset your internet connection.
4. Check the settings on your Wi-Fi router or access point: In some cases, settings on your router or access point could cause a problem with the connection. High firewall security or parental controls can block new devices from connecting to your Wi-FI network
