So far Googles flood light camera has surpassed all of my expectations. The video quality has been amazing. The set up wasn't all so hard since I already had the wiring in the spot where I wanted it. The light is super bright.

This is the second one we have purchased, now one on frint and back of house. Easy setup and easy operation through the app. My only wish is that they came jn black as well, as the other dixtures on the front of my home are black.

Easy set up, great views and the flood light works!

Replaced an old Flood on my Barn that faces my driveway. Now I get get the nest camera, w notifications as well as really bright Flood lights whenever it senses people.

Overall the camera and the floodlight are good. However, calling this a Google "Nest" Cam is misleading since it does not work within the Nest app. It would have been more appropriate to call it a Google Home Cam as the camera can only be monitored through the Google Home app. I found this to be inconvenient as I have my other cameras, Nest Protect, and thermostats across multiple homes in my Nest app. Installation was easy and the directions were excellent. Still disappointed in having to use a different app. If you have multiple homes in your Google home app you'll also have to have different subscriptions for video history or just lump them all into one home. If you want to stay with your Nest app, I wouldn't recommend this. Just get a camera and a floodlight, but if you've fully migrated to the Google Home app then you've got nothing to lose.

I have it in my pool and the light is shocking, like a stadium every time someone gets near our fence (setting for human), our dogs can pass but it only takes 5secs to start recording.

This is a great product. A little on the expensive side, but it works great. I have this on my side door and have one light pointed toward our pool. Its super bright and and provides enough light for both our the side of the house and the pool in the backyard

Fine video quality, excellent floodlight illumination. Works with Google Home app, keeps you informed of activity in its scope of view.

Adding the flood light makes night video very clear. Easy to install

I have two of these at my home and may add another to back yard. I consider this the best step for security at home and with Googl home app on my phone, I can monitor all the cameras

This product was easy to install by myself with the provided hook to hang the floodlight It made it easy to do the wiring. It is feature packed, and I love the Person/Animal/Packages/Vehicles detection feature and also once you save a person's face in the face library, every time the camera sees that person, the notification will say that person was seen instead of a generic "Person Seen" notification(with a Nest Subscription). Also, even though I won't use this in my driveway floodlight camera, this feature for detecting Glass break sounds and Carbon Monoxide alarm sounds is amazing if you have Nest subscription, though in my experience it doesn't work so well, because it could trigger false alarm over glass sounds from the TV too. That being said, $280 is a steep price considering most people might also pay for Nest subscription for the added benefits. But BestBuy's deal of $219.99 was really good when I bought this.

Camera is great, lights are very bright and adjustable sensor is great for keeping triggering down to actual events. Setup is very easy with google home app. Would be 5 star however it does not work with nest app. I have 3 other nest cameras and can not add this camera to app.

Great camera and floodlight. Researched most cameras with floodlights and decided on googles camera. Picks up motion, vehicles, people, and animals with those tags in the alerts. One interesting thing i read in the instructions was that you can paint the cameras any color you want. Of coarse, tape off the lens to the camera, motion detector, and lights.

The product’s build quality is superb. Relatively easy setup through the app. I would have preferred integration with the Nest app but alas it has to use Google Home. Lighting is excellent as is the camera.

Great product. I little tough to get set up on the Nest. Had to mount up high and needed an electrician to assist.

The google nest cam generally does its job. It records whenever a person, vehicle, or an animal appears in its field of view. The recorded video can be viewed on the app relatively easily. Floodlight works well. Things I didn't like: every so often the nest cam loses connection. When that happens you can't connect to the the nest cam and can't view live video. It often times re-connects on its own, but you don't have control of that. Sometimes I would have to reboot the router to restore connection to the nest cam. It happens often enough to be really annoying.

Replaced outdoor light on the side of the house with this and it works amazing. If you have other NEST cameras this will fit under your annual subscription. NEST cameras are great because they record 24/7 and store in cloud for 10 days. Much better than motion activated systems like RING.
