We have it placed over our drive way and it is great the light is very bright the motion sensor has different sensitivity and makes it great for when we arrive home late and need some light. Very good quality product is great thinking of getting one for backyard

The Google Nest Cam Spotlight is a great option for anyone looking to add an extra level of security to their Google Home automation. Installation and setup was quick and easy especially if you are replacing an existing exit or light fixture.

Cons: Google can't get it right between Nest and Google home. My Google Nest doorbell sends notifications through Nest app, but this thing must be accessed through Google Home (where the doorbell is also visible but doesn't send notifications.... weird). I assume Google will update this at some point, hopefully, maybe.

I am so happy I purchased the Google Nest Cam. My home has an alley behind it with a lot of pedestrian and vehicle traffic. It is a comfort to see what is going on out there especially after dark! I have a Google doorbell on the front porch which is also awesome!

We have the doorbell, guard, and mesh network so when it came time to buy a security camera, the flood light/camera made sense. Overall, we’ve been very happy. The set up isn’t terribly difficult but it’s important to follow instructions carefully. Like others, I agree it’s disappointing it doesn’t work with nest app.

Great camera and floodlight. Researched most cameras with floodlights and decided on googles camera. Picks up motion, vehicles, people, and animals with those tags in the alerts. One interesting thing i read in the instructions was that you can paint the cameras any color you want. Of coarse, tape off the lens to the camera, motion detector, and lights.

Nice camera. Easy to install. Clear, lights work pretty good. Motion sensor is hit or miss . Can suck bandwidth for uploading video, especially if you aren't using super high speed internet service (Like DSL)

This is my 4th floodlight camera. They work great. Many options and features for setup to capture movement both day and night.

Camera is great, lights are very bright and adjustable sensor is great for keeping triggering down to actual events. Setup is very easy with google home app. Would be 5 star however it does not work with nest app. I have 3 other nest cameras and can not add this camera to app.

Excellent direct replacement for floodlights good camera for outdoor visibility from high angle. Definitely recommended if you are already in the nest camera ecosystem.

I have this google best floodlight cam in several locations. It works well and stays online. I also have a Ring flood cam and it works very well and stays online too. Two very different experiences viewing the videos, alerts, app look and feel etc. The Ring product last I checked was significantly cheaper and I do not feel like either product is superior to the other.

Camera was easy to install but did not come with the anti theft screw for the camera Google advised to contact Best Buy. Several phone calls later and being hung up on I went back to my Best Buy store. The manager I talked to helped me and resolved my issue Extremely professional and helpful.
