Light works well and is extremely bright. Only complaint I have is sometimes wifi connectivity is spotty despite a strong signal at the instal location.

The camera works great, but the video isn’t viewable on the Nest app with the rest of my Nestcams. You can only view it on the Google Home app. The other problem is that there is no way to program the lights on a timer or dusk to dawn option.

The actual camera hardware seems to be very good, and installation was pretty easy. I have about 8 nest cameras, and unfortunately 3 of them are newer like this one and thus you have to use the Google home app with them. And that app is just atrocious with the camera integration. Notifications literally come in a day later, you cannot easily review your recorded feed. For example, want to look at what happened 5 minutes ago? Well you have to go to the recorded history, which means yesterday, and then scroll on your phone an entire day ahead, which either takes forever or you got the wrong area on your phone screen an exit by accident. Just a shame Google has totally ruined their cameras with this app. The old nest app is far and away better in all aspects. Don't buy these cameras unless they fix the app or let you use the nest app again.

The Floodlight is a great feature that I'm very happy Google finally offers with its cameras. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. It would be great if it also offered 4K. However, surprisingly, the difference isn't too noticeable.

Love our nest cams. The flood light combo is a nice option. Only thing is there old nest app was better then there google home app.

This camera is worth it. Especially if you're investing in the Google ecosystem which I am. The lights are super bright at night and the sensors are very sensitive which I like. Before I barely step a foot onto my deck. It picks me up and the lights kick on. The video quality is also great!

Great product. I little tough to get set up on the Nest. Had to mount up high and needed an electrician to assist.

We regret investing in the Google Nest camera ecosystem. While the automatic detection of activity is sometimes useful, flaws in the overall system are very frustrating and Google has done zero to improve the system or add functionality over the time we've installed multiple cameras. The cameras often experience connectivity issues despite we have 6 WiFi routers with 2 different networks. It is extremely difficult to review past camera footage, and also difficult to export or save any video clips that are not detected by the AI system. Because everything is processed by the cloud the video can often not be reviewed for 10 or 15 minutes, and during emergency or security situations this is precisely the critical window. After trying to make the best of it we have finally decided to invest in a real camera system instead, one that allows us to feely review and save all our own video footage and isn't dependent on Google's substandard SW development and maintenance practices. One of the largest technology companies and the world but they can't seem to be bothered to deliver a compelling experience or add new features and improvements to their systems.

Works great and the Google Home app makes control of the brightness of the spotlight easy.

Fully hooked into the Google Home / Nest ecosystem. I mounted this at the top of my house overlooking the backyard. Pretty good picture quality but it appears my Nest Hello doorbell has a bed picture quality. Overall solid but a bit pricey

Besides the camera going offline more than I would imagine or ever like for it to i feel much better having a camera outside my house and driveway than I would not having one...and it's really not that often that it happens.

This is a must have if you need a floodlight or outdoor cam. The pic quality is outstanding and you can talk through it. You will need to sign up for a subscription but the peace of mind is worth it.

Great camera works well even when loose power camera still works on battery

The only thing that would place this camera/floodlight over the top would be if it was 4k video. That's not saying the video is bad, it's very good for 1080p and it doesn't use up a ton of bandwidth. I plan on purchasing another one to install on the back of my garage.

Intergrates and works as expected with Google Home app, etc. Image is clear enough. Soind is hit or miss. Minus 1 star as I can't find a way to set a daily schedule for the floodlight.

I replaced an old floodlight that tripped too often and had poor lighting. The motion detector on this floodlight works perfectly and only lights when it should it should. The video is great and it's interesting to see all the activity in our alley including coyotes and a fox!

Working great once I set it up. Not a fan of the Nest Google transition though. All my other cameras are on the Nest app and this one is on Google Home. They need to be more integrated on one app.

We looked at all the different security camera options and this was by far the best. We replaced existing flood lights with these. The motion detection/range is perfect, the set up went smoothly, and they look sharp. The app works great. We're really happy with the technology.

Better than expected but does not work with nest app. Have to use the Google home app. Surprisingly bright and the fps is smoother than other stuff I’ve seen online
