Great floodlight

Does not work with Nest App!

The new Nest Cam with floodlight is exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience. Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, as well as Google Assistant. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Users with older cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Cams. Our team is working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app so all of your cameras can be set up and controlled in one place.

It’s a horrific nightmare to deal with the phone representatives ( had one successful & productive conversation out of more than a dozen) better use of my time to consider the service fee a loss & contract out myself if I consider time money

The right lamps prevent it from twisting on wish there were a way to remove the lamps until installed.

Posted .Hey there, Camco. We’re sorry you ran into trouble installing your Nest Cam with Floodlight. You can remove the floodlights from the unit prior to installation — here’s how:
1. Power off.
2. Remove anti-theft screws (bottom, cord).
3. Unplug camera (removes floodlight from app).
4. Rotate floodlight clockwise to detach.
5. Hang floodlight temporarily with S hook.
6. Disconnect floodlight wires, secure power wires with wire nuts.
7. Set aside floodlight and S hook.
8. Remove caulk from mounting plate cover.
9. Unscrew and remove mounting plate cover.
10. Remove mounting plate screws and detach plate.
11. Disconnect grounding wire, secure remaining wire with wire nut.
