Does NOT work with Nest App
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First and foremost this does not work with the existing Nest app. It only works through the Google Home App. As someone who has 6 cameras, 4 Nest Protects and a thermostat, this is unacceptable. The Google Home App is jumbled, does not offer live view. The camera is fine, the lights are fine, but the fact that it does not work with the app is inexcusable.

Had aome issue connecting the cam through the app. Hold down the reset button for 20-30 secs and youll see a white light then blue. If its blue THEN it will connect.

Wish I could be used in the nest app but it only is shown in the google home app. No big deal but it's still a great camera. This does need to be hard wired so be prepared for that.

Not sure why people insist on 4K, but its resolution and quality is just fine in my opinion-especially with the 24/7 video recording. I use Starling, so it works well with Homekit.

Im giving it one start because the light works fine and only can watch the live video... again it wont save the videos if you don't pay the subscription
