Glad that Google finally released a Nest Floodlight with 24/7 recording (with Nest Aware subscription). I have many other Nest cameras, so this was a nice addition. Video quality is good, the floodlight it bright. I like how you have the option to keep the floodlight on if needed. Biggest con is that this camera does NOT work with the Nest app or the Nest web interface. Hopefully the Google Home app will reach feature parity with the Nest App in the near future so I can finally ditch the Nest App

I love the Nest line of products and was excited about this. There's not much to say - installation was simple (instructions were good, the fixture replaces an existing floodlight with no additional wiring/changes needed). One caveat is that I have a long driveway, I live on a hill, in a small city (~100k people). To get alerts when vehicles approached I had to point the camera down (removing the road/city from the field of view), otherwise, it would alert me when cars were simply driving down the street. Not super helpful.

My cameras outside are clear and response quickly.

The overall design of this is pretty wonky. Its weird how the camera part is magnetically held to the base. Someone could easily steal or disable the cam by cutting the single exposed wire if they wanted. Other than that, install was a breeze, and it works as intended. Sensors pick up any slight movement and it notifies my phone immediately. Video quality is pretty good, and the sound is good as well. Only downside app wise, is it wont work with the Nest app. Can only view it on the Google Home app.

The camera quality is fantastic! Installation was done by a licensed electrician (which is recommended if getting the hard wired model). The camera can be sensitive so prepare for alerts (and yes I have adjusted it’s sensitivity). The flood lights work great as well. It reall illuminates my yard very well. I’m just not a big fan of the Google app to run it. It can be slow to load the feed.

Bright lights and a great camera. Easy to install.

Lights are cery broght, camera gives a clear picture and motion sensing is good. My only issue with it was the installation. It doesnt come with paper instructions and i didnt see the square i was supposed to scan until after i had started installing the pieces in the wrong order. It was pretty annoying until i saw how to get the instructions. Oh, and the wirenuts that come with it are junk. Once installed, its great!

Easy to install. Works great. Seen coyotes and foxes in my driveway.

These are soo good. If you want a nest camera these are the one to get. Lights are super bright and the motion detection works VERY well.

Bright lights and easy setup. My only advice is to pay attention to the little arrows when lining everything up. I had to undo a few times as I overlooked this part. I wish it worked with the Nest app but not a deal breaker for me. I’m hoping the google home app gets more polished though. It’s just too busy for me. The camera works great and picture is clear. Night vision is decent and the lights are super bright. Would definitely buy another to replace another flood light.

Easy to install, very bright and easy to control when linked in with my Google home setup. I would definitely buy a second unit for the backyard, if I could find it on sale again.

Overall I love this camera. Crystal clear images and super bright floodlight. For some reason Google designed this product to only be installed perpendicular to a wall. I still installed it hanging from my garage awning and it works. The installation guide warns your detection area will be affected, but I found it to be more than adequate even on the lowest sensitivity setting.

Product was quite easy to install. Camera produces high quality image and video. Sturdy and secure. Definitely recommend to have for home maintenance and security

It's a camera with flood lights. It does what it's supposed to. The quality it solid, the sound is good, and easy to used. I haven't used any other brands, so hard to compare how "good" it is. I will say it's much best than the nest doorbell camera. Our doorbell nest camera has issues half the time turning on or the doorbell not work. We haven't had the issues with these cameras.

Build quality is great and comes with all the necessary hardware for installation. Camera is hefty and has a good weight to it. The inclusion of the anti-theft wire is appreciated in the age of the penny pinching accessory market. Software installation was a breeze with the QR codes. The only gripe i had is that it is not compatible with the Nest app that my other google products are connected to and instead uses the Google Home app. Not a huge deal migrating over to the new app but was a big fan of the Nest app. Notifications are fast and responsive to human detection. My family and i were very surprised at how bright the flood lights got and even had to dial it down a bit to avoid the neighbors getting upset. Overall would highly recommend this product to friends and family.
