    For anyone who is fed up with ring devices. Take this chance and upgrade to nest. I recently bought all neat devices and left ring. The 24/7 recording is worth it. The google home integration with all my smart devices is amazing. Dont hesitate. Make the switch. You wont regret it.

    Very hard for cost of camera to get it to hook up to internet. Geek squad couldn’t get it to connect.

      Hi there, Oldman. Sorry you’re running into trouble setting up your Nest Cam with Floodlight — this seems out of the ordinary. Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:

      1. Check your camera’s distance to the router: Your camera may be out of range or it may be too close to the router.
      2. Restart your camera: When you restart your camera, it will refresh its connection. Instructions depend on what kind of device you have.
      3. Restart your router: When you restart your router and modem, it will reset your internet connection.
      4. Check the settings on your Wi-Fi router or access point: In some cases, settings on your router or access point could cause a problem with the connection. High firewall security or parental controls can block new devices from connecting to your Wi-FI network

      Motion detection on Nest Cam with Floodlight can be affected by changes in the light level, and shadows moving across the frame like when a cloud moves in front of the sun. This also includes other movements within the camera's field of view like trees or bushes swaying. If you're not getting any alerts or notifications, we recommend trying out the steps below:
      1. Change the Activity Zones on your camera. You can delete your existing Activity Zone and create a new one in any area within your camera's field of view. Just make sure that none of the zones you create overlap.
      2. Change the angle of your camera and account for the lighting in the surrounding area.
      3. Restart your Camera.
