Does the job with protection of being weatherproof

It is intended for customers who want to consider connecting the camera to a power outlet for continuous power, and to keep the battery charged. You can use the included power adapter for the same purpose, but please note that the power adapter included with the Nest Cam (battery) is not weatherproof and not intended for outdoor use .

The cable gets dirty very easily and we have had issues with 1/2 of the cameras we have installed. Trying to swap out cables with google is a bit of a hassle. We have also purchased multipacks of these new cameras and they only include a single charging cable?!?

Fragile plug.

I broke one because it got too much debris in it from getting it through a wall.
