- Home app settings are off by default. You can turn notifications on or off at any time by following the steps on this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9244826
- Check that your camera is powered on. Most Nest cameras need to be plugged into a power outlet to stream video and send notifications. If you have a battery-powered camera, make sure it’s charged.
- Make sure that your camera is online in the app.
- Make sure that notifications from your camera are turned on in the app.
Furthermore, if you still experience the same issue, we recommend that you contact our support team for further help. We may need to isolate the issue further, and you may reach out to us via the Google Nest help page: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

Still has the satisfying click when pressing the bell button compared to competitors doorbell camera’s. Great features and fixed the larger glass lens that tends to peal over time.

The video, however, on this one seems to be of lower quality. The faces of people are a bit pixelated even in high definition. Older models seem to have better quality.

If you haven’t yet, we suggest adjusting your cameras’ video quality to improve the video resolution. The higher the video quality setting you choose, the sharper and more detailed your footage can be, but it also uses more of your internet bandwidth. This setting lets you choose the maximum video quality for your cameras. And whichever level you pick, your camera will automatically adjust its resolution and compression according to how much bandwidth is available. It's replacing another video doorbell that was previously installed on my house. I wish the picture angle was a bit wider, but other than that, it's great to use. Install wasn't bad, even for a very new DIY-er like myself.
