My basic doorbell happened to go out and i was researching for a replacement. Came acrosss this device and since i already have the nest/google product, i decided to just go with it and i am very happy with this. I bought the wired version and the installation was easy including adding the device to my google home app. I do see the disconnect between nest and google home but i can live with it.

Works great!! It takes a little while to charge but once it's chaffed it lasts forever

The tech, ease of use, and quick response time is very impressive. If this had a higher resolution and greater field of vision it would be absolutely perfect. I really like the AI tech as it literally tells me when the kids get home as it recognizes people. It can send you alerts based on motion, people, animals, vehiches. I have it set to only send me push alerts based on people, and doorbell rings. It will send me an alert such as “person with package” which is great to know when packages are delivered. The field of view is 4:3, and is significantly less than my Ring Pro on my last house. This isn’t bad though, and it does what i need. I would recommend it. If in the future they have this in 4k with a 16:9 ratio i would upgrade.

I bought this to replace my first gen model. Even though these things are wired, there is still a rechargeable battery in it that will die in a few years. The first generation was a much easier install. With this one, I thought I was losing my mind. If you need extra room for the wires, install the angle bracket.

I like the Nest security camera, capturing all activity.

Great doorbell camera. I switched from Eufy because i knew I was missing events that should have triggered a recording. I like that it can detect people, animals, vehicles. The only complaint with it is you cant delete individual recordings. You can only delete everything. I have google hubs and enabled speakers. I love that you can get notified on all devices.

Love it. Not having the worry to change batteries. Picture during day and night are crystal clear. The sound quality is superb, just turn it on to hear the wild life sounds outside. Yes would buy again Great camera.

The Google wired door bell is a great product. The camera is very sharp and integrated seamlessly with Google Home and the Google Displays. The existing chimes do not work but it may be because the transformer is undersized.

The only thing good about this doorbell is the installation is updated and easier than the Gen 1. This doorbell constantly disconnects from Wi-Fi. At least 3 times a day for me. Have even installed a Wi-Fi extender to no avail. Also forces you to use google home app, which is overly complicated. Would not recommend at all. stick with Gen 1

These are the easiest to install. Works well all the time.

Wife bought this for me for Christmas. A significant upgrade from the super cheap "smart doorbell" my new construction home came with. Integrates very well with the google home app. Does disconnect sometimes but that seems like a software issue.

Disappointed in online ability to use that the first Google doorbell cam had. Only able to view and save videos from the app and only if subscribed to the ever-increasing fees. Maybe this will improve down the road.

The color fits in really well and the installation was straight forward.

Upgraded my 1st gen wired doorbell with this new device. I really like the accuracy of the alerts.
