Could not be more satisfied with all features. Understand, you WILL NEED a 12v supply for it to connect nad work properly. An easy upgrade and fix.

- Home app settings are off by default. You can turn notifications on or off at any time by following the steps on this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9244826
- Check that your camera is powered on. Most Nest cameras need to be plugged into a power outlet to stream video and send notifications. If you have a battery-powered camera, make sure it’s charged.
- Make sure that your camera is online in the app.
- Make sure that notifications from your camera are turned on in the app.

Excellent doorbell camera

We didn't want to do battery and deal with charging or battery drain issues with our cold winters. It has been in use for about a month and have had no issues. The installation was easy and highly recommend this camera.

With many blind spots, you can easily be missed by the camera. The speaker is also too quiet due to cheaper parts. It can make it difficult for the person to hear what you are saying depending on the background noise. The pros of the camera would definitely be the night vision. It’s pretty clear at night. For the price since it is cheaper than the original, it’s a very average doorbell. Sad for a Google product as they should be making a better product by taking on a brands original purpose.

Pros and cons of google doorbell

If somthing happens middel of night once u wake up footage will be gone so dumb. Once in while it will stop recording audio too.

Catches everything that passes by and recognizes animals, people, vehicles, and packages. If your packages is gone you get a notification.

The video, however, on this one seems to be of lower quality. The faces of people are a bit pixelated even in high definition. Older models seem to have better quality.

If you haven’t yet, we suggest adjusting your cameras’ video quality to improve the video resolution. The higher the video quality setting you choose, the sharper and more detailed your footage can be, but it also uses more of your internet bandwidth. This setting lets you choose the maximum video quality for your cameras. And whichever level you pick, your camera will automatically adjust its resolution and compression according to how much bandwidth is available.
