I love my Google - Nest doorbell 3rd gen! It gives me comfort knowing I can see who is at the door at all times or if someone is just walking around my home. I love that it alerts me on the app. It works great! Highly recommend.

Upgraded from a first gen. The field of view on the 3rd gen is much wider. I was not expecting such an upgrade. If you are on the fence, go for it.

Good video quality, setup was simple, but app didn’t work at first. This caused a bit of frustration and wasted time, I had to delete the camera from my home and go through the process of adding the device again. Worked fine after. Subscription cost is also higher than ring, but you can do for free as well if you don’t need any history, so 50/50 there.

Incredible camera. This is my first smart doorbell and i love everything about it. The packaging was beautiful and the simplicity of the install instructions was amazing. I am pleased to be using Google products.

Easy to install and works great, however there should be information provided that you need to up the transformer to your doorbell in order for it to work properly

Upgraded from the battery version. I'm liking the smaller form factor and larger field of view. I just wish the Nest Home Premium subscription was priced competitively. I guess it would make sense if you had a lot of cameras and was completely invested in the Google Home eco system, but at that point... it's unfair and they have you hooked.

Video quality seems about the same as previous model. Actually, not sure if I prefer the previous model more. This model has a wider range of view but due to wide range of view, images are smaller (ie. Person in view is more distant, not as close up, not as large). Other than that it works as intended.

Love the doorbell camera! Installed 3 of them around our cabin to keep an eye on who is coming and going. I have a older nest doorbell camera installed at our house and it still works great.

Great video quality and easy to install. Instructions are very clear. Also, once you have it set up, you can link it with your Google Home AI and give you summaries or recognize faces.

Very easy to install and program to the Google App. I had one issue that was not the fault of the Doorbell - some weird incompatibility with the electronic doorbell chime in the house. Once I changed it out, all worked as expected. One other consideration, that would be with any similar device no matter the make; the brick facing around the door frame caused the camera view, which is about 150 degrees, to be partially blocked. I wanted a full view and not just the person at the door. Finding an extension is not difficult, but it took about a week to secure.

[Employee of bestbuy] I had the 1st gen door bell. This is a huge improvement. I can only image the benefit of a 4k version of this with a higher frame rate of recording. That would really be great!

I installed my Nest doorbell last week and have had no problems with it since. The installation was pretty easy and the camera tech is impressive. It is annoying that you have to upgrade the subscription to view more than 10 seconds of the video footage but other than that I am happy with the product.

I found this item perfect for knowing who is ringing the bell and answer even when we are vacationing.

Great doorbell, another perfect condition open box from Bestbuy. Install was easy was worried about my doorbell wiring but it worked flawlessly. Probably installed in under 30 mins.

i used first gen nest doorbell, and have to say this is a great step up! also easy to install by replacing the original.

Bought this as it has 1hr record time to device if wifi goes out then uploads to cloud. Will test but quality of picture is good. Wish they had alerts like ring did when someone walks buy.

Upgraded from the original Nest door bell. Picture is very clear and zones and notifications work great. Had a bit of a struggle getting it locked in place, but that might have just been a me problem.
