Great Thermostat, will save you a lot of money. Nest makes a great product

I love my smart thermostats! It is an excellent product!

Initial Nest Thermostat went bad after a couple of days, Best Buy exchanged without hassle. Second thermostat has worked without a hitch since then. Neat upgrade for the home.

I gave it a 4 because it's taking a long time for it to get to know my schedule, and programming it is not easy, so I'm trying to be patient, till it learns my home time schedule, but other than the schedule promblem, it is a great smart thermostate. I recommend it.

Got this on a recommendation, current thermostat was super inefficient and not user friendly. Installed in less than 30-45mins, easy to follow guide and manual. Apps are very easy to follow and setup your schedule. On the first month we saved almost $80 compare to last years bill. Even shows you the energy consumption per day and what caused the change in use ie your change, wx, etc. Recommend getting the extra sensor or two, you can schedule which room takes the temperature priority throughout the day.

I like that I do not have to adjust the thermostat from cool to heat -the weather in Colorado in the fall months can be unpredictable so this feature is really nice. I also like that I can control the temperature when I'm away from home if needed with my mobile device.

Life has become easy controlling the temperature at home with eco mode or any mode on a schedule and ease of use with the app.

This is a must for any smart home. Connects to your alexa and smartphone to set temps and save money on your heating and AC.

A little pricey but I wanted it to team with my Cameras and soon to be Nest Protects. With exception to a minor difficulty getting the operating display to fit snugly on the backplane, the installation was fast and VERY easy. To avoid my minor issue, be sure to tighten the screws on the mounting plate..

I've had a Next 2nd generation for a couple of years and it's worked so well that I got a Nest for my son's house. Now I can monitor and manage both houses. Economical - it learns your habits and uses the knowledge to reduce energy consumption when you're not home or when you're sleeping. Convenient - the furnace or A/C can fire up when you're a few minutes away from home so the house is comfortable by the time you walk in the door. And it works with Google Home or Amazon Echo so you can start the heat just as you're getting ready to shower, and then dial it back when you're dressed, all with voice commands.

Nest makes very high quality products. Easy installation and great looks.

Very cool product. Its looks nice in your space and you have the convenience of being able to control this thermostat from your smartphone using the free Nest app.

Purchased the NEST 3rd GEN during the Black Friday sale. Absolutely easy install. Already saving $ after 2 weeks. This will definitely pay for itself in 1st year.

My electricity bill was saved by 50$ and i know it would have been alot more if I had used this in the start of the month but any how I am loving as it monitors and learns our of what tim what kind of temperature we want.

Very easy to install and set up. I bought two over a month ago and I love them. Make sure that you check with your gas/electric company. Many offer a $100 rebate per unit.

This thing was pretty easy to set up and has helped me save a lot on my power bill. Although it got hit one day and I went to switch it from heat to cool and it didn't get cold. I'll have to look into it more this spring to remedy the problem.

I love the large display on this thermostat. The setup was easy with nest's instructions and videos on their website, and it is super simple to use.

[Employee of bestbuy] On the first one the battery went bad after about 34 years. When i opened it to replace it I noticed the original battery leaked and messed up the board. Supposedly that was a lithium battery and should not have leaked. Weird. I would not recommend this thermostat though if you have an iPhone and Apple watch. Initially Google had an app for the watch which they discontinued.

It makes my home look futuristic, I highly recommend every home owner to buy one and take advantage of the SoCal Edison rebate they have going on! Well worth it!!
