It might sound lazy, but I got tired of having to get up every 1.5 hours to adjust the temperature in my home. This is a game changer since I can use Alexa or the app to control my indoor climate perfectly. It was easy to set up. I don’t know anything about HVAC so I called the customer service line and they walked me through the entire installation step by step. Very happy and cozy in my home with this purchase!

Nest thermostat easy to install and work ,classic look with advanced features . Hands down better then the completion .

We recently sold and purchased a new home where the purchasers of our home wanted our old Nest Learning Thermostat. We purchased this for our new home and in white. The matte white is sleek and ties in really well with the other colors throughout our house. Setup as always is incredibly easy and user friendly as well. We very much enjoy the Nest and the cost savings that come with it too!

I was a little skeptical about purchasing one of these because they are the most expensive of the smart thermostats. I was very impressed with the build quality, and also the instructions to wire it. Installing this was a breeze because the instructions were so clear and there are even videos which make it even easier. Total installation time took about 15 minutes. Everyone is impressed when they see it. I love how Incan wake up in the middle of the night and change the temperature from my phone without even leaving my bed.

At first I was skeptical because not a lot of people have the nest thermostat. Once it was installed and I got the hang of how it worked, I really started to like it. First, it’s so modern and just prettier than an old thermostat, and second, it’s so efficient for keeping my house at the right temperature while also saving me some money each month. My favorite part though is I can control my house thermostat while I’m on vacation or anywhere because of the app. Overall, I love this device.

The prior thermostat did not have power, due to the heater being a furnace only. With an added power supply, the installation was fairly easy and works like a charm. After about one week, the thermostat start responding slowly and sometimes not at all so I reconnected it to a different wireless in my house and it's been fine since. Might have become confused due to adding several Ring alarm devices recently. In summary, it's a nice thermostat that my husband can easily control it with his Google Home/Nest hub.

Really good thermostat, screen is big, and easy to use. Setup was a breeze and I like how the proximity sensor lights up as you approach it. The wifi capabilities are easy to setup. The app on the phone, is very informative, it learns your habits and adapts to it. I have found myself using the app even at home to change the temperature to the desired level. I love the fact that as I am on my way home, I can adjust the temperature, so my home is nice and warm, or cool as I want. Definitely would buy again

I bought this for my house and we love it. Easy to use and we can control it with our phones that's a big plus for us. Also I install it and I was surprised how easy it was.

Simple installation and very easy operation. Like the way you can program while away from home and turn on while you are away also.

This thing is awesome. We've had it for 2 yrs now and it's been super helpful. No problems with it at all. We have actually seen a reduction in our electric bills and I think it's largely due to this being installed. It's so convenient to be able to program different temps at different times of the day. Sure, we want our pets to be comfy, but they don't need it nice and chilly on hot days the way we like it when we're home! And we can adjust from our phones from anywhere, so lying in bed at night, want to bump it up or down a few degrees, just grab your phone instead of going downstairs to adjust the thermostat. It tracks your patterns and preferences and makes its own adjustments to try to fit into your lifestyle as well. Works seamlessly with the Google Home, so even if we're too lazy to pick up our phones to adjust it, we can just ask Google to do it for us! It also reminds us when the filters need to be replaced, and has a bunch of other features as well. We probably aren't even using it to its full potential but we do a lot with it and it's definitely one of those things that you wonder how you used to live without it.

Love the ease of installing and the ease of learning the product. The ability to control the temperature in the house with the click of a button on my phone is wonderful.

Purchased to replace an older (but still working) programmable thermostat. Installation was very easy, about ten minutes. Another few minutes to connect to my wireless network and I was "in business". I set a program and things have worked perfectly since. I would highly recommend this thermostat to anyone interested in smart home tech. I liked it so well, I purchased a second nest thermostat for the upstairs master bedroom. Installation, connection and setup was the same as before. Now looking at other smart devices for my home.

Absolutely love this Nest device, can control everything from my phone while away, it can automatically help you save money during peak times. When you buy one it will also save you money on your bill with an eligible utility company.

Easy to install. Works very well. Learns well and is very customizable. Easy to read settings/current temp indoor and outdoor. Can be controlled from thermostat or from app. I'm VERY pleased with my purchase. Based on the improvement over my previous thermostats, I expect significant energy savings. My only issue is with the price. I was able to get them on sale, but the retail price is too high, in my opinion.

Google has developed a great thermostat! It was easy to install, easy to link to WIFI and very easy to use.

I love this thermostat. It turns on when I get home since I allow it to know my location. I enjoy seeing the humidity level in my house along with the temperature outdoors all on one screen. The app is especially useful when I'm away and I want the house to be a certain temperature before I go home. The app is also useful if you're already in your comfy bed and need to change the temperature without getting out. I highly recommend this thermostat. It works well and super easy to use.

Awesome thermostat slick design easy to use and easy to install would definitely buy again

Most people are interested in the Nest Thermostat when you discuss features. Which there are a lot of. But there is a hesitation when they see the price. Understandable. After two months I do have to say it is worth the investment. Living in Oklahoma I set it in Heat/Cool mode and haven't touched it since. I set the upper and lower temps and it handles it. Does a better than fair job keeping my house comfortable without my intervention. It knows when I'm home and when I'm away. And to be honest, I'm really impressed when how well the 'learning' part of this thermostat works. Why only four stars? Let's be honest, price. For most of us $250 is a lot to spend for a thermostat. Even if it does do some very smart things. Would I purchase another one in the future? Probably. Would I replace my current one with the next new version? Probably not. It would have to be pretty compelling new features to do that. For right now it seems to do a good job managing the climate of my home.
