No one admits to touching the thermostats in the house but someone always does. Keeps the thermostat wars and your electric bill (for the times they put one unit on heat and one unit on cool, or AC down to 60) in check. Was the best option for our situation (wiring with no separate power line). I have mixed with the other nest model and works great. Too many features I probably won't use, but unfortunately the convenience of smart thermostat was worth the cost if not to prevent tampering.

My daughter originally bought a Nest for her home and that's when I saw how slick it worked (she even let me have app control!). When my husband and I got home he installed it using online videos and enclosed booklet. (There's even a special screwdriver tool enclosed in package.) Installation took about 15 minutes, then another 10 minutes to set up with our home wifi. Because it works so well, when we got a vacation home that was one of the 1st items that was installed. I like it because I can use my app to turn on the cool/heat on our way to the condo so it will be comfortable right away.

It has been a month and has made me energy aware. I have not got my first bill yet but I know that I am saving because you can see how long the heating has been on. Since it reduce the temperature when you not home and adjust it self when you home. You do not have to temporary change temperature if someone stay home. Installation was easy and took less than 30 mins. I did not have "C" wiring, because my programmable Honeywell thermostat used a battery. It worked with out the "C" wire, So no need to swap fan wire or swap wire in the furnace. It works well wink and Alexa

The nest has a great look & is easy to use. It was very easy to install. So far I'm happy with my purchase & I'm looking at some of the other products they offer.

Wifi connected, Smart and money saver! I picked the Nest over the Ecobee and feel I made the right choice. Very stylish and easy to install and setup yourself!

Easy set-up (though I did have to perform some attic work regarding the blue wires). Easy to connect to wifi and working great!

I was prompted to purchase the Nest because of the rebates provided by my gas and electric providers. It was an easy install and has been even easier to use. Features I appreciate include being able to review my usage, the reminder to change the furnace filter, and being able to program each day individually. It is also nice to be able to adjust the thermostat while away from home or just on a different floor of the home. One piece of advice, be sure to set your "away" settings or disable the function otherwise someone home while you are away is in for unpleasant temps.

Love my Nest. Not only is it great looking but has saved me $$. It's intuitive and connected to my wifi. I can cool down the house before I get there.

Elegant design and thoughtfully designed software make this a very simple yet sophisticated thermostat upgrade, a must have for the basics in home automation. Extremely easy to install, even for the faint of heart, the learning thermostat sets itself up to learn your habits and takes it from there. The tech support is first rate, friendly and knowledgeable. The Nest software is extremely user friendly and makes setting up all of their family of products a breeze. Although a bit pricey, it’s well worth the money.

The first thing I would like to say is that the install instructions are amazingly simple. I have never wired a thermostat, and the in-box instructions got me about 95% the way there to do it myself, so I was very satisified with install. In terms of competency and features, this thermostat is fantastic. The ability adjust the temperature from anywhere is very convenient for travelers, in addition the device learns your habits and adjusts accordingly. To maximize the benefits of this device, pair it with google home, so that you can adjust the temperature with your voice!

The unit was easy to connect and even easier to use. I had it connected and set up in under 10 minutes. We love being able to control the temperature from any location in or out of the house; and it's especially pleasing to be able to access the Nest on a cold, rainy evening, while stuck in traffic and return home to the perfect temperature. The design is also so minimal it fits beautifully into any decor, visible without being an eyesore. We use ours with a 75-year old radiant heating system and plan to purchase another for use with our new A/C system in the spring.

I bought this thermostat in white for my new home. Easy to install and looks great. Worked seemlessly with my iPhone and Google home.

Excellent Smart Thermostat. Learns when to change temp in house. Easy to install.

I wanted to upgrade from a programmable thermostat that was usually a complete pain to program and maintain. Each season needed a complete reprogramming, and every time I needed to make a change I had to clone the change into each day so the settings were consistent. No More! The Nest thermostat is really easy to program and it learns what I like without having to program each day's multiple settings. Plus it senses when I'm not on the floor and sets the temps for me. And it reads the outside temperatures and uses that to adjust the temperature inside. Very cool! And it looks very nice as well.

This is an awesome easy to install and use Thermostat! Installation for this product just took less than 10 minutes. Once you get the Thermostat connected to your WiFi, its easy to control it from anywhere around the world. I use my Google Assistant to set temperatures using voice commands. After connecting to the WiFi and downloading the Nest app from the App Store, I recommend using the Geolocation feature in the Nest App to change the Thermostat mode between 'Home' and 'Away', which will save a lot of energy.

After reading many reviews and talking with other Nest owners, I decided to purchase the Nest learning thermostat. Not only was it better than expected, but it also let me combine two (one for heat and one for a/c, that were right next to each other) older Honeywell programmable thermostats into one. It was such an easy install and looks great. My wife always had the previous thermostat in a hold temp mode, which defeats the purpose of programming. I love not having to worry about that anymore, as Nest learns your activities. I have since bought a Nest Protect camera and love their products.

Great thermostat! I have 2 furnaces in my home with two thermostats and these have made life so much easier. It's so easy to just set the temp for a couple weeks then the thermostat takes over. It has successfully learned which parts of our house we do not use as much and has adjusted temps accordingly. The Nest app is easy to use and has has had zero issues since installation. Quality is great, instructions are great, ease of use is flawless.
