The thermostat was easy to install and performs to my expectations. I wanted a thermostat that I can control remotely and this does the job. It looks great too.

Replaced a unit I had from Cox Home Life that malfunctioned. Wanted ability to control by an app. Easy to install and set up. Labeled wires and where to put them. Faceplate was nice addition because former was rectangular and this unit is round. I purchased a sensor for use in another room, living room, where there is a noticeably different temperature then where this unit is installed. In the app I can set it to go by the temperature where I put the sensor, and likewise would be able to do several rooms that way. The one thing in still trying to learn is the unit going in to Eco mode, why and possible settings to change the threshold as to when it goes to Eco mode. All said, seems pretty versatile. Anxious to refine my knowledge

Replaced a Honeywell thermostat with the Google Nest. Love it so far; easy to install, setup and use. Learning aspect working great and notice an overall improvement in keeping a steady, comfortable temperature.

I first decided to purchase the Nest after hearing about the rebates offered by socal gas and Edison. I'm amazed by how easy it was to install and to use. The hardest part was trying to remember my wifi password. Now that it's installed I love being able to control the temperature in my house from anywhere. I can make sure the house it nice and cool or warm the moment I walk in the door not to mention the nest can also learn your routine or you can just set it so when your phone is out of range it turns on or off. So many options and it work perfect.

Nest works well. It knows when you are home and when you are away and adjusts the temp to your predetermined lowest or highest temp that you set. It will also learn your habits as you set the temp manually. You can also set a schedule and it follows it while also adjusting if it knows you are not home. Can also be set to your phone location to know if you are home or gone. Very smart. Does both heating and cooling. Easy to learn and use. Easy to read. Monitors local weather and gives you outside temps. Phone app works well and able to access anywhere wifi is.

This was super easy to set up and install. I thought the instructions we very clear and I didn't have any issues. The temperature throughout the house appears to be very consistent as we even have a larger room that is all windows. My family is constantly running in and out of the house and it is great for our busy life style. I think the look of the Thermostat is very sleek. Overall, I would 100% recommend this thermostat. The ease, efficiency, and look of the product has earned a 5 star from my family.

Simple install and great functionality, especially with the Nest app. Looks so much cleaner than my old Honeywell thermostat. I have a heat only system with just a red and white wire, and I have have no issues with the thermostat operating without the c-wire. My heat has been on though the whole time since I purchased the thermostat. I may add a c-wire that can plug into an outlet when I turn the heat off in the Spring/Summer

I have owned an older version of the Nest Thermostat and had a few problems that were taken care of and replaced by Nest for free. I moved into a new house and bought two 3rd generation thermostats for the upper and lower areas of the house. They are easy to install (30 minutes) and very stunning on the wall compared to a standard squared thermostat. So far, I have no issues with both of them and love the ease of use with the Nest/Google app! Worth the money!

The thermostat Nest is easier to adjust and works wonders when you need to adjust the settings when not at home. Also I see the savings on my electric bill.

Have not had it quite long enough yet to speak on its energy saving abilities, but overall it was very easy to install without professional help and it is very simple and intuitive to use. Being able to control your home's thermostat from away from the house provides peace of mind and very useful functionality that you will no longer want to live without! It functions very well with the rest of our Google Smart home ecosystem.

This is an investment that should be considered. There's many pros like the fact it helps monitor you're usage and shows how you can save your money. The fact you can program it to your daily routine makes it a great value. This is for the techs like my hubby. You can sync it your phone, iPad, tablets, etc so when you're away and coming home you can have the temp set to the ideal temp by the time you get home. While its pricey, it will pay for itself rather quickly. Look out for deals/promos. A $50 Best Buy gift card came with our purchase so it was definitely worth it.

It works great and is super convenient to use when I’m not home to keep my house the exact temperature I need. I also really like the eco efficiency to help me cut down the cost of oil and electricity in the winter.

Love, love, love this thermostat. The thermostat and app are extremely intuitive to use and work very well. I have this thermostat in both my homes in different stares and love the ability to view and control them no matter where I am. This thermostat also was eligible for rebates from the power company in both states. Win/Win. Highly recommend,

This is works very well and is very reliable. Installation was a breeze. Connect the wires as instructed and you are ready to go. Connection to the Nest network cannot be easier and having the unit up and working is absolutely as simple as 123. The one drawback is the high price, particularly given the new competition, but most annoying is the confusion around pricing.
