This thermostat is amazing, it has a feature that allows it to know when you're home or away depending on if your phone is at home that helps save energy!

I bought this product for my brother bc of it energy saving program with Heat Pump equipment. Also the fbi can't monitor me through this device.

Does wonders to my electric bill. I don’t forget to turn up the air in the morning any more! I recommend to everyone!

In short this app nor the product is very smart. The rigid adherence to the schedule is the largest issue. If I've changed the house temp 5min ago, I don't still want the thermostat to move to the sleeping temp at the scheduled time. The result is I find myself fighting the schedule more often than not and in the inverse I wake up in the middle of the night hot & sweaty for those night I'd forgot to turn the heat down (e.g. after I'd adjusted it after a schedule change). I'm unsure why this smart thermostat doesn't have the feature to return to the schedule after 2-4 hours of me making an adjustment as my last smart thermostat had. Even if we suspect that is a feature covered by a patent surely Google could use that big data it has on me from my Pixel, or my other nest devices to realize I've gone to sleep and that the regular scheduled program can be resumed. Lastly, as many have pointed out here on other comments/posts, the Assistant needs to be able to exit ECO mode in one step. Why should I have to provide the two steps as if I'm performing some unsafe action by removing my house from ECO. The Assistant could simply chime back, "Okay, we've turned ECO off and set the temperature to 66 Degrees". Hope to hear your gripes in the comments below.

We love Nest thermostats so much we have put them in several house over the years. Can control them from your phone while away.

I have been using smart Thermostats for a long time and Nest seems to be the most reliable and quality is always on point.

This is a great thermostat. You can see very clearly on the screen when it’s heating the house. And another great thing is you can pair it with Alexa.

Just had it installed so in time I will really be able to tell how much I will save. It is nice to come home to a warm house without the heat running all day!

Learned my schedule quick. Not a fan of the home or away feature but it did learn my schedule so that I don’t have to touch it at all!

This thermostat is great! The Nest has significantly decreased my energy usage. It runs my furnace/AC a lot less than my previous thermostat, and keeps my house much more comfortable. I had some small issues getting my Nest to connect to my AC at first, but Nest customer support was great and helped me fix the problem in a few minutes. Fantastic product and company!

Bought this for our new house, had a first gen several years ago, and I love how it adapts to our schedule and keeps us comfortable. It really does save us on $$$

Bought two Nest thermostats. Installed one upstairs and one downstairs. They work great maintain the house on a constant temperature. A bit pricey though.

Love being able to set the temperature of my house while I'm gone so I'm not cooling or heating my house while I'm gone. We even used this on vacation to turn up and turn down the air as needed and on the way home we cooled down our house and walked into a nice and cool house after a long 3 hour drive. Just great to be able to control the temperature and know it when not at home.
