I purchased two Nest Thermostats and a sensor. I liked what I purchased so much, I bought 3 more sensors. The sensors are essentially electronic thermometers that you can put at places distinct from the thermostat. In our house the thermostats are in the hallway and they always over heat and over cool the bedrooms. Thus I can use a sensor in the room as the thermometer and thus the set point for heating and cooling. The installation was easy. I did it myself. I have a good working knowledge of this sort of work, but it is easy and the instructions are straight forward. There are numerous videos available to help with installation. It appears through the first month that we have saved some money, but I will have to look over the year and base it on the average costs of heating and cooling. But based on the usage that the Nest evaluates, we have used less than last year and the temperature seems most even to that observed the previous year. Nevertheless, a more thorough evaluation is needed. The nest has great features including energy saving features, easy of use, voice control of heating and cooling temperatures (if you use the right app), etc. I am very happy with my purchase.

Had a nest thermostat for years now. This purchase was for a new house being built so wanted to stay with what is tried and true. Easy to install and control via the app . Seamlessly connects to all of my nest/google apps and devices. I still think it is the best out there.

I love these smart thermostat and I especially love being able to modify the heat or AC in the house prior to my arrival. I can also schedule my typical departures and arrivals, but there are always exceptions to every week. The mobile app is excellent.

Love the nest thermostat. Easily able to control temperature using phone, at home or away. Eco mode helps save energy. The only thing missing is HomeKit compatibility

This was fairly easy to install. I didn't do it personally but watched. Their customer support was excellent in determining if my system was compatible and emailed me the instructions which were very easy to understand. I actually spoke to a live person. How refreshing! Would definitely recommend this product as the app is so easy to use and am seeing less energy usage already.

Very easy to install and set up. It actually makes you want to set the thermostat to save energy with different settings throughout the day. Prior to this I just left my old programmable thermostat at the same temperature 24 hours a day. I am anxiously looking forward to my next gas bill to see just what kind of savings I'm realizing with with this thermostat.

New Nest thermostat was easy to install and works fine without a “C” wire to provide additional power. I also purchased a Nest temperature sensor for our bedroom so the thermostat will monitor its temperature at night rather than that of the family room where the thermostat is located.

Awesome thermostat, love that I can control it from anywhere whether I am home or out of the house. It definitely has help save on our bill. Just purchased one for my son who is in a new home. Hope it will help him save money as well.

I thought about getting one for the longest.... I can tell you now that it is FAR BETTER and functions FAR BETTER than expected. You wouldn't be disappointed by getting it. Try fan feature once you do, fun to use!

I purchased this when my AC was malfunctioning in order to prove many of the issues with the unit. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to install. Before having to mess with any wires, the company made sure the Nest was going to be compatible and provided simple instructions. It's saved us tons by being able to automate settings and track our usage. Love it.

This thermostat was so easy to install and even easier to use. It is so smart that it learns the habits of my family members on how they want the temperatures during the day then creates schedules for it to be on and off. I already have seen a savings in my electric bill, it will pay for itself in no time. This purchase should be a no brainier for anyone.

Easy to set up with pre existing equipment just take off the old one and install the new one

I have zoned heating and my other thermostat is an Ecobee. While it has its good points, the quality of the Nest is superior. I only wish the Nest had satellites like the Ecobee. The Nest is much easier to program. I have found the Ecobee can't do some of things I'd like to do easily. Both are far superior to the regular thermos and I'll easily pay for their cost in savings.

Easy install, works well, can't complain. Makes heating my apartment much easier.

Very easy to set up and use. The app was also easy to set up along with the computer. We have found this to be well work the investment. I'd say with in an hour or two we had it installed and programed. I love the fact that we can program it to fit our schedule and then remotely program it on the fly with the app. This also works with Alexa. Really very nice.

Very happy with the nest! I was able to install it myself even though I was prepared to hire someone to do it, gave it a try and it was extremely easy when following the instructions on the Nest website. Would definitely recommend it and the app is super easy and intuitive as well.

Love this thermostat, it's well designed and easy to install.

Having the Nest Thermostat gives us great peace of mind when we are not home. It's so easy to check, and control from my cell phone. Even when we're home it's convenient to reach for my phone to monitor, or change the temperature in the house. It's so great to bring our home into the 21st Century! The Nest is more informative than my old thermostat. Easy to program, too.

Best smart thermostat! Love the fact that I am able to control the temp from my phone! Also, it has a Eco mode that you can set when you are away so it does not use a ton of energy. I'm sure our energy bill will be a lot less now!!
