I got this cause I am away from my home time to time, it will go into ECO mode and use less heating oil as if I am there, it has a Home mode and a Away mode, plus I can change the temp from my cell phone, it know if I am home. It tells me the temp outside also, this is a Neat thing to do.

The Nest Learning Smart Thermostat works great as a way to control the heat throughout our house from our HVAC system. Highly recommend this to others and get the Google temperature devices to ensure your house is warm during the winter and cool in the summer!

Have used it 3 weeks now and I’m surprised with the ease of use and installation. The directions they give you are step by step and very simple. Plus it gives your home a bit of an upgrade as well. The app makes it easy to use. I will be adding temp sensors to it.

Easy to install with clear instructions. It took maybe 30 minutes to get it up and running. The interface is intuitive and you have additional options to control through the Nest App and Google Hub. Also qualifies for a rebate from most Gas & Electric comapnies. I'm a big fan.

This is my 2nd nest as my 1st was sold with house i sold. I had the opportunity of buying another and after long research of all the others thermostat i kept coming back to this one. What drawn us to it over and over again it how easy it is to use.

Nest allow you to control your house temperature from anywhere. Lots of features. Nice design with multiple colors to choose from. Installation is a snap. Must have for anyone who want to upgrade there old thermostat.

Almost perfect but slight issue recognizing my RH wire that powers the heat. Otherwise, love that the thermostat starting learning our schedule right away, ease of use, and how easy it was to setup (wiring and adding to our nest app). Nest is still showing an issue with RH wire not being detected but heat working as expected. Will keep an eye out to see how it progresses.

first of all, make sue totally unplug your ac before install, otherwise, so easy to burn your A/C control board's fuse. I have to run to hardware store to get 3a fuse to replace the one that I burned when I install. really like this controler, everyone should get one in your home. so convenience to remote control via smartphone. recommend

With various schedules and unpredictable Kansas weather, it seems to be having a difficult time learning what temperature to set at what time. That's okay, as it is very convenient to pull up the app or use our smart speakers to adjust the temperature when we are not near it.

Easy to install. Over all a great product. You can sync it up to your phone but not to a 2nd member.

This is my second Thermastat and pretty much had to buy it within a week of moving into my new house. The ability to turn it on / off from my phone. Or be notified that something is wrong with my furnace when I’m traveling and instead of coming home to the pipes frozen you can get it fixed . Won’t own a home without it.

Love that I can control the thermostat from my app. We have hot water heat and it takes a long time for the house temperature to rise. It is very helpful to have the ability to increase the temperature a few hours before we come home. Eco setting is a challenge. It knows when we go out and reduces the temperature. The house then takes a while to return to a comfortable temp when we return. I will eventually work this out - outsmart the smart thermostat.

Took about 10 minutes to install. Looks and works great.

Easy to install and app is easy to use. I was able to program the schedule easily. I added a sensor in the master bedroom, also easy to add to the system. It is too early to see if it will save me money as it claims. Over the next few months I will post another review.

This thermostat is very easy to install and easier to use. It is a little on the spendy side tho.

First I must say that I am still to receive my first Electric/Gas bill and then I shall decide wether this is actually is cost saving. Looks very sleek and is easy to install. My 15 year old did it in under 20 minutes. It works well and has made a schedule for itself but sometimes if we are out of its set schedule, the house does become very cold as the temperature really reduces and it takes over 30 minutes to come back to the set temperature. That's the only reason why I give 4 stars - otherwise a wonderful technology to own,

Super happy with the nest. Can do a number of customized settings to ensure the house is comfortable for everyone. The house is sporadically occupied and so having flexibility to easily manage the nest either going to eco mode or changing the temp remotely is an energy saver.

Lots of capability, some complexity for a thermostat and now on the expensive end. The new Nest version may be a better choice, except at this time, the new one doesn't work with the remote located sensors. I like having the sensor to keep my 2nd floor temp where bedrooms are maintained at night and in the morning. Install is super easy and it looks good. It also is compatible with my utility companies energy saving programs.

Had the original Honeywell Lyric, upgraded my router to a new more powerful set, and to learn that this original Lyric wasn't compatible. Thusly set out to purchase a new smart thermostat. I was aware of the Nest since the onset and heard that it was overpriced for the minimal interface and features, but it certainly has grown since then and this new iteration seems to have outpaced industrial giant Honeywell, which has led me to my new Nest. Easy install, easy setup, and when I do what to see my consumption it has a very intuitive GUI, and reports feature.
