So easy to install and works great, will pay for itself

I really like this thermostat. It knows when I leave the home & automatically lowers the temperature. We have a two story home & I bought the temperature sensor to control the temperature in our bedroom at night. The thermostat & sensor work flawlessly together & have solved the problem of our upstairs being hotter than the downstairs. I could have found a lot cheaper products, but you get what you pay for. To me the Nest thermostat & sensor have been worth it.

The app walks you through setup, then saves you money with geo fencing and easy to set schedules one for each day. The best also learn how long it takes to cool or heat your house depending on the forecasted temperature.

Works great. Use this at our second home. The wireless capability adds a piece of mind. I use it with a heat pump central air. I like the eco function and it notices when someone is home and automatically reduces energy use when no one is around

Very easy to install. Instructions are easy to follow and the screwdriver is included. Helpful hint: take a photo of the wiring of your old thermostat before disconnecting in case you want to refer back to it. Now learning how to reduce our heating bills. Love that I can adjust the temp remotely when I forget to do so before I leave.

I debated getting this for awhile and now that I have, I am very happy with my purchase. Makes it very easy for me to get a better adjustment to my thermostat in the strange Ohio weather that goes from 60 one day to 80 the next. Highly recommend and as always, check for the rebates through electric and gas companies.

Easy installation, even if I wasnt an electrician the installation instructions and process are so simple, it won't take any more than 15 mins to setup. I don't personally use the app, but I couldn't be happier with this product. Programming is easy, eco mode is awesome, and it's always fun to look at! Would buy again!!!

I bought these on the recommendation of my HVAC guy. I travel alot and sometimes I forget to adjust the thermostat before I leave. He was supposed to come back to install the 2 Nest thermostats, but he didn't return my call. I guess it wasn't enough money for him. I decided to try to install them myself and it couldn't have been easier. I took off one star because it sometimes goes offline for no reason when everything else is still connected to the wifi with no problems.

I have held off getting this for some time now because I figured I would need a pro to install but no! This was so easy to install. If I can do it anyone can do it. Loving it so far. eco mode when I'm away from the house is really saving energy for me. Also I like that I can run the fan whenever I want

Very easy to install, U-tube will help if you need it, but the instructions worked well, We have 4 zones and so far have installed them on three of our zones, will get the 4th one next year due to the price. Works great on my android phone. Have given them as gifts to our two grown children for their homes.

Does the job perfectly. Understands simple voice commands only when paired through Alexa but thats ok. The airwave feature is a good one. Got the stainless steel one and is absolutely beautiful to look at. Crisp bright display.

This thermostat has not only helped reduce my power bill, but it has also figured out that I like it cool at night to sleep and not so cool during the day while I'm working at the computer. Additionally, it seems that it might even sense our house plants because they are looking much better than they used to!

The best thermostat i've tried from all of the "smart" ones. All others compared to this one are just dump. this is the one to get !!! Don't waste time and money on ones "cheaper" and or "better by sales man recommendation" as they are just waste of your time and money. Get this and you'll be more than happy from the very first minute.

I bought this as a next step in home automation--I'm not yet ready to go all-in on one brand or system. But the deal Best Buy was offering included a Google Home Mini free with this purchase, so it gave me a great way to jump-start the home automation. I found the installation fairly straightforward, but I did need to contact support based on the compatibility assessment steps. This led to them sending me a customized wiring diagram for connecting the base unit to my system. As the installation progressed, I ran into two questions, for which their website stepped me through straightforward resolutions. The smart thermostat is now learning our schedule at home and is connected to our Google Home Mini, so we're able to monitor and control our heating/cooling from our phones or verbally with the Mini. The user interface for this small device is impressive--the screen activates whenever we stand in front of it, and the design makes very good use of the rotating dial and pressing the device to take care of all direct interaction. All is going well so far...

You can buy cheaper thermostats that will do the trick but we love the Nest. After just a couple of weeks of use, it’s has learned our pattern. No more nights of forgetting to turn the heat down when going to bed because it has already done it for us. I also love being able to adjust the temp from my phone!
