You have to love technology. This was a great buy. Every time I ask my wife to lower/raise the AC/Heat before she leaves for work she would forget. This allows me to make sure my AC isn't on all day long with no one home at 70 degrees. I recommend this for any homeowners and married man for that matter!

we always forget to adjust the thermostat when we leave, but now I can adjust it while at work. We also have a nest speaker in the bedroom and we can just ask google to set the temperature I want to before I go to sleep. great product.

I've owned the ecobee and that works well too, but I like the look and feel of the Nest a lot. The learning mode is a but annoying at first because it changes up the temperature on you but I guess that's how you can save energy later.

Love this thing! Super easy to install even for a technologically challenged individual like me. I also love the app! It makes it so much easier to control the temperature in my house. 5/5 would recommend!

When looking for home automation, you get what you pay for. This device was easy to install, setup, and use. Be certain to insure you have the right system that can accommodate the Nest (check their website). If so, within 20 minutes of starting the installation, you will be finished and using it.

When I first purchased this thermostat I was a bit skeptical. I thought it was overpriced until I installed it. It was very easy to install and the set up process was simple. Make sure you know which wires were hooked up to your old thermostat before you remove it (take a picture).

Very awesome product. I love the color and how easy it was to install. Even when I have changed wifi routes a couple of times, it finds the signal very easy. Love the different settings. Specially when I can set it while away.

Recently moved and had to leave b behind my first Nest, as soon as we lined up our new house this was the first purchase we made. Now they come in cool colors AND are super easy to use? Awesome. The email updates on energy usage are fun to get too. Would recommend 100%.

I know the ecobee has better reviews, but love my Nest and is my 3rd purchase (different homes, not them breaking). 3rd generation has some nice features. Easy to use and looks great - elegantly packaged with easy installation guide. I'm struggling with working out geocaching so it switched to economy mode when I leave (based on my phone location), but probably more user than device..... I've mounted to a slate backing purchased from Amazon, looks very nice.

Love it. Can have voice control via Alexa. Can control it with my phone. It learns when we like to keep the temperature lower or higher and I don’t have to actually change it much anymore. Great addition to the house.

Very easy to set up and got a deal on it. Plus our utility provider has an additional rebate. Wonderful thermostat easy to control from the nest app of via Alexa. No complaints. Already saved a fair amount of money on the utility bill

I was skeptical of all smart thermostats, but I decided to buy the Nest as part of my spree of home upgrades this winter. After just a week of use, I'm a believer. I can't believe I waited this long. PROS: - Incredible easy installation. Anyone who has ever held a screwdriver can install this. - Beautiful software interface and intuitive navigation. - Amazingly smart. The Nest can tell when I'm home or away and adjust the temperature accordingly. After just a week, it has already learned my habits and created an accurate schedule. - Excellent iOS app. I love being able to adjust my thermostat from anywhere in the world. CONS: - Expensive, but be sure to check with your energy company to see if they offer rebates for smart thermostats. My energy company gave me $100. Highly recommended!

Can stay in bed (or under a sleeping baby) without having to get up to adjust the thermostat, because my phone is almost always within reach. The away feature would be great if our house was ever uninhabited that long. I love that it "learns" your preferences quickly so not much need to adjust it very often.

I already had a nest in my primary residence. I purchased this second nest for my condo at the beach. Everything about the nest is simple, install and use. Being able to adjust the temp of you home from your phone is great...house is comfy when you get there. Nest also saves my loot on my electronic bill.

We’ve only had is installed a week. So far it’s still reading learning.... digital reading is nice and bright and large enough to glance at when walkin* by as it senses you. Love the ease of options and settings in the app. Should have bought this a long time ago. So easy to use.

Was looking for something that did not need C Wire, found this. Very convenient, now I get to control my temperature from my phone

The unit works well. It is saving us $$$ by adjusting when we are not at home. It learns your schedule, so the house is comfortable when we return from work. Great to be able to verify the temperature of the house and make changes from anywhere with you phone.
