Love it , I have two in my home.They look nice and I like the way they light up as I walk past them.

I love my nest thermostat! I researched for over a month before purchasing this item and it is worth all the reading. My electrician wanted to charge me $60 for the install. I YouTube the video and installed it in 30 minutes....VERY EASY! I have zero experience with these types of things so ME installing it in 30 mins is saying something. My only gripe is it took a while to recognized when I was away from home to go into eco mode, but I think it's finally working. I'll try to update later to let you folks know. I tried to upload photos, however this site isn't letting me.

This would normally be a 5 star review. However the situation being that it was. 2 years and 2 days after my purchase(considering its a 2 year warranty) the wifi module went out on my previous Nest Thermostat. After contacting support at Google Nest which they do through Twitter, now X, they "regret" to inform me of this well known situation and that the only solution is to go and purchase a new one. So thats what this purchase is. A replacement unit for something that should have been warrantied by almost any other company. Seriously contemplated going a different thermostat route, but because of the unique nature of our heating and cooling on this home and the wiring all done, all I have to do is pull off the old one and plug the new one in and connect to my wifi and go. I decided for ease of use I would do that.

I had 1 already just adding another. I love the ease of changing temperature with my phone. It’s very easy to use and i highly recommend.

Learns your habits, can easily change temperature on your smartphone! Love it!

The thermostat is easy to install and looks great on the wall.

We have only had this for about a month, but so far it has worked great. Our bill has already gone down and we can control the temp while away from home.

I love the flexibility this provides me. Being able to adjust temperatures from anywhere is great. The interface and setup were easy and intuitive, definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a new thermostat.

I’ve had one of these for over two years now. It keeps us at just the right temperature when we are home, and saves us money while we are away. The learning features work well and eco mode can you save some $$$ if you use it. Best thermostat I’ve ever had. Wish it worked natively with Apple Home though.

I've had the Nest Thermostat for over a month now and really like its features. It is a bit pricey so I'm really hoping it will save us money, in the long run, to make it a good return on our investment. You really don't have to touch it much once it learns your preferences and I can control it thru Alexa.

This purchase was to replace a two week old Nest thermostat purchased from Google (Nest) which stopped operating. Google would not replace the broken Nest because I was not on site to perform several tests they wanted to conduct although my HVAC contractor had already concluded the unit was faulty. So, I bought this Nest at my expense from Best Buy as a replacement so that the A/C could stay on. When they work, they are great, but plan on a battle with Google if you have a problem.

Was easy to setup and works great. Getting the energy discount helps too.

Friends of mine had the gen 2 version. After checking out the reviews and specs (bugger screen was a large plus) I decided to purchase one coinciding with my new condo. Setup was easy as the directions were detailed and thankfully the wiring was color coded. I like that it reminds me to change the air filter on the unit ever few months. Ended up getting one for my parents home.

Very helpful for controlling your thermostat while outside of your house. Have come into many situations where I realized I would be gone longer than I expect from home. Was a simple fix by getting on the app and lowering the temperature or raising in the case of the ac. Also has many features that help you save on your energy bill.

I completed a lot of research before choosing my Nest Thermostat where the decision to make the Best Buy purchase was a winner! Installed and set one up both downstairs and upstairs in less than 40 minutes. They look great, fun to use, and saves $ right away! If you especially travel or have a second home then a NEST is definitely something to purchase.

After buying the Nest protect carbon monoxide alarm (two of them) and then getting the Nest Outdoor cam and the regular Nest Cam I decided to go for the Thermostat and it is such a joy to be able to change temperature from my phone and the way the device "learns" and adjust the temperature for you when you are not home is such a plus. Also keep in mind that if you do have the co2 alarms from Nest and there is a co2 leak, the thermostat will shut off the gas line which is a plus and such an important feature for your security! Nothing to complain really, the screen is beautiful, it has so many sensors! it will light up when you pass by it, I mean perfect device! Don't be afraid if your house is old, mine is like 90 years old and I was still able to connect it and set it up in less than 30 minutes. Wonderful device! Highly recommended
