Great purchase. Purchased replacement item when battery quit.

After researching thermostats on line and finding out there is $100.00 rebate from ComEd for the Nest it made my decision easy. It was easy to install and setup. The mobile app is useful and again easy to use. Based on my last gas bill it looks to me it is saving me money as advertised.

It's been up for a few weeks and has started to learn our patterns. It's easy to use and seems to keep temperature very steady. Hoping that my electric bill will start coming down but have not had it long enough to see any results yet.

It was so easy to set up and install! No screwdrivers required - just stick the wires in as you push down a button. Responds well on my device. It's fun to stand in front of it and use my iphone to control it and watch it change on the wall. It senses the outside temperature (from the internet) and adjusts accordingly. I love the usage summary that tells me how many hours it ran every day. We had our attic re-insulated, and it was awesome to watch the usage go down afterwards on my device. The claim that this will pay for itself is no joke - I have had it for a month, and can see that it will happen. No wonder the gas company is offering a hefty rebate for this!! And that's something that has bothered me about Best Buy - they didn't mention the energy rebate at all. After buying it at Best Buy, I went to Home Depot to look at other cheaper options to replace my thermostat, and that's where I found out about the rebate. Needless to say, I kept it and have been more than happy ever since.

This has turned my apartment into a much better experience all by itself. The main winner for me was being able to measure the humidity in the house. It has made everything much more comfortable and is definitely saving us money. There are a few bugs with the phone application but nothing worth really complaining about.

This is great in my home. It runs the fan to circulate air on a regular basis while using less energy to heat and cool the home. The Nest also recognizes my patterns and adjusts the temperature when I am around the house and when I am away. Great way to reduce energy costs!

Great piece of technology specially when you have teenager in the house. Let you lock it so they can't be messing with house temperature. Also I have seen a decrease in my electricity bill.

No matter who owns or operates Nest (Google currently), their products are rock-solid and are extremely smart. Easy setup, quality metal construction, and great functionality make this the top choice in the smart thermostat market. If there was one thing that I wish would change, is the silly round design and UI. It works, but everyone else’s screens on nearly every other device is rectangular.

Easy install, and easy to use. The interface is sleek and very intuitive where even my senior parents can operate.

Love the learning feature of the thermostat. We rarely adjust the settings or change the the temperature. Recommend taking a picture of your existing wiring locations for reference.

I have three of these thermostats already and had to get another one. I love that I can control the temperature from my phone. This new one I just purchased is going in my basement.

Enjoyed the features but allows you to control temps. Won’t make you stick to a schedule if you don’t want and won’t tell you what to do.

I love this product! I love that I can control temps through my phone too.

This item will hopefully help save energy during the summer while I'm away, but the best feature that I have used so far it the app. If I get too warm during the night or too cold in the morning I can simply use my phone to adjust the temp without getting out of bed. Worth it.

I installed two Nest thermostats in the house. Very easy to install, they booted right up to our home wifi and have saved us money each month. We like the app, but wished that the reporting was more robust. All in all, great product.

Amazing. This device is a smart device. It learns your wake and sleep times to adjust temperature. Tracks when we are not home so it turns down heat. Great investment.

I bought the nest to help me to be able to control the temperature within my house by phone or by Alexa Due to my having a disability. I enjoy the convenience of being able to set the temperature so easily.

upgraded our home analog Thermostat with a brand new Nest. and linked it to home wireless. like the big LED digital temperature display. we can view/change temp with our smartphones via Nest cloud. amazing gadget
