Love this product, it makes it easier to turn ac/heater on & off, saves electricity by turning eco mode. Easy to install it only takes a few minutes maybe less than 30 minutes.

This is my 2nd and 3rd Nest smart thermostat. These are great if you want a "smart" thermostat but don't need a ton of fancy customizations. Install was easy.

Lot better than 2nd Generation nest product. Read reviews of second generation product and also looked at it. All the issues from previous generation are resolved in this 3rd generation one and it looks awesome as well.

Operates as expected but also has some surprises. I am impressed by the ease with which the Amazon Echo works with this product. Allows for changing between heater and AC while no where near the Nest.

I purchased a nest thermostat. The product was faulty out of the box. I spent $80 for a certified tech to diagnose that my HVAC was perfect but that the nest product backplate was faulty. (The tech also stated this is a common problem with nest). I called nest customer service and the tech was condescending on teaching me how corporations regulations work and he could do nothing. I had all the paperwork to email to him but he insisted he could do nothing. I then explained I'd leave a review on the product and how he handled it by not reaching a compromise of some sort. I will be returning the 2nd nest product I had to purchase. All in all, I'm sure the product works great when it works but I hope you never need to use the customer service. The tech Mike was VERY unhelpful and even asked me if I worked for a company and I understood my regulations at work. What a rude guy. I told him I hoped that his company was recording this conversation. I'm sure they'll be talking to him on how the real world operates. #clueless. I will be posting this unfortunate experience on other websites as well. Hope this helps you decide what product is best for you.

Works as described - but open box failed and needed to replace with Google. Best Buy was not helpful.

I love this thermostat. So elegant and sharp looking beyond functionality. This is my 2nd nest, this time in white. Blends in nicely with me white wall. Highly recommend.

It's pretty straightforward to install and use.Hooks up to your wi-fi and then self learns to set right temperature for your home saving your energy cost.

I am very pleased with the Nest learning thermostat. It is very easy to set up and easy to install the app on the phone. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new thermostat.

Works great, gives you valuable information, and it looks nice. Setup was fairly simple on an existing Google Home set-up, and could be done by anyone. I haven't seen any pitfalls yet.

I love being able to check my thermostat when i am out of my home! It was so simple to change out and install! Having instant access to my ac even when i am not home is the best!

I bought this product and installed it in my home. Installation was straightforward and took less than a half an hour to install the device. It was easy to program and does what it is supposed to do. The only reason I did not rate this a five star because of the potential security risk that this has.I don't know if it actually has security risks or not, but, that's what I have seen in print. I do have a secure router so I'm hoping that for protects me.

when i purchased this item, started relaxing myself in home. There have nice feaures like auto away, heat and cool option,remotely off from phone. equally maintance.

Excellent product. Installation was very easy and straightforward. Thermostat has already learned our heating patterns and is saving energy. Bought while on sale and with rebates offered by our utility companies it only cost thirty dollars.

This is amazing. It works with Alexa and is easy to install and set up. We have had this for months now and our power bill has dropped. Theres some nice options to know when ur home or not that really do save you money. We love this product.

Love love love this thermostat. I can control it when I'm at work or anywhere away from home. I have two separate pads to control heating and cooling in my home and when I bought the nest for my downstairs level I immediately said I have to buy one for upstairs. I love it!!!!!!

This product was very easy to install, set up, and use. The app is great to set the temperature from anywhere (and I mean anywhere), and the geolocation feature is amazing. I don't have to worry about turning down the HVAC unit when I leave.

If you're looking for a great thermostat with lots of functionality, look no further. Install was easy enough. Very intuitive menu system was easy to navigate, and the thermostat was hooked up to my wifi in minutes. After installing, just begin using. After about a week, the Nest thermostat learned all of our heating/cooling patterns and I haven't had to make an adjustment since. No setting up daily or weekday/weekend schedules! Your nest also keeps track of how long your heat/AC runs each day and can display it to you. When you hook it to an online account, it can also provide you with monthly email reports of your energy usage. Finally, it was super simple to get this hooked up to my Amazon Echo, so I now no longer need to walk over to the thermostat to make adjustments. The Echo can make adjustments via simple voice commands. Highly recommended puchase!
