Never had a problem with it. It initially reduced our enery bill by about 25% over the programabe honeywell that it replaced 5 years ago... Since setting this one up over Christmas holidays it has been adjusting to our lifestyle. Great reports come out periodically. I plan to add other google nest devices soon!

I've been hesitating about buying "smart" ANYTHING for my home over security issues and "The Internet of Things." But Nest has stated that they have the same concern and are continuously working to keep their products secure.
