Easy to install. They give you very straightforward directions so you can install it yourself. I've never messed with a thermostat before and installed it myself in about 20 minutes. Features are obviously great, too. You can set an "eco" range for when you're out of the house. It will allow the temperature to drop to the minimum you set or rise to the maximum you set so that the air/heat isn't running constantly. It will then use the motion sensor and/or the location of your phone to know when to turn the air back on. Only thing I would add would be the ability to start heating or cooling the house before you get home, but it seems to only start once your phone reaches your house.

Had the first generation Nest in my previous home. Couldn't wait to get one for our new home here in Florida. It is very easy to set up and use and it truly is great being able to control it over an app and any WiFi you're on.

Bought this gadget because it was on sale, works with google and just wanted a nice update to our thermostat. It was super easy to install, it looks great, works with google and I love that it has an app.

I got this product because being in AZ th etemp can fluctuate quite a bit during the year. The setup was easy and the instructions via Google and other YouTubers was easy to follow. My issue was mainly the network connectivity and the 'learning'. I initially had it connected to my 5GHz wifi network, but it kept randomly disconnecting. I guess it is because I customized the frequency due to close neighbors, but it is still annoying. I switched to the 2.4GHz network and no connectivity issues. As for the learning, this issue could be because my wife's schedule always changes week to week. Also, sometimes we notice the location tracking to turn on the eco mode only sometimes works. As for performance, the nest itself is much better than the basic thermostat and the AC responds immediately with any temp adjustments. Just be aware that it will take time to learn the app and configure it exactly how you like. Once that happens the product is good.

We love our Nest thermostat! Easy to install and very user friendly. Love that we can control our thermostat from our phones! We have already saved money in the 2 months we have had our Nest.

I bought this via the Black Friday deal and so far I'm loving it. I love not having to program it or to remember to drop the temperature when going out for anextended time. Plus I can see how much heat I used and for how long and also when the heat came on. I'm planning to get another for 2nd zone and eventually a 3rd. I've had one issue a few days ago where the display no longer lit up when walking past it. Upon investigating, I noticed the wifi was disconnected and it said low battery. I called tech support and they couldn't understand why since the power readings were on par. They advised to reset the network settings and leave it to see if it would recharge. I did this and it took 24hrs to charge. Hoping this doesn't re occur. It didn't impact hearing which was good. I just had no control over it via the app.

So far, so good! We replaced our HVAC system and added the Nest Learning Thermostat. It's so easy to use and looks great, too. Check your local gas & electric company for potential rebates.

I wanted to upgrade my older thermostats with ones that would allow me to control with my phone. This was extremely easy to set up, and I have been loving it! The learning feature is great, and works very well. It only took a few days before the thermostat started to control itself based on when I normally change the temperature. The interface is also very easy to use.

Love it, not complicated. It learns your schedule! Setup notes are the best I have ever seen, anyone can do it if your comfortable using a smart phone.

The nest thermostat is so convenient! I can adjust the temp from my phone, plus it keeps track of my habits and auto schedules. My old thermostat was so hard to program and understand. The nest is the way to go!

Easy to set up. Still learning about the software but getting ready for summer. I downloaded the Phone App so I can adjust without being home. Nice quality and updated right away after connecting to the internet.

Love this little unit Looks very sleek on the wall and works seamlessly with the app. I love that I can change the temp from my phone at work when it got to be 90Degrees out. I have dogs so if the house started to get to warm for them (they had health issues that the heat would make worse), I could turn on the AC from work instead of having it on ALL day. Great way to cut my energy bill !! It's working great so far !! Also watch for deals on these. Then once purchased you can also get $50.00 back from WE Energies for using this !!

I love this learning thermostat! 3 days after installed, it was already scheduling the temperatures as per our preference. It has a very nice look also.

Love that you can control your thermostat with your phone. Take a bit to get use to all the settings but easy to use.

The nest thermostat is better than expected. It was very easy to setup. I ran into an issue (received an error code), but I called their support and it worked. The app is very easy to use too. Awesome product!

Had a brand new 'smart' Honeywell that I could not stand. Within 2 weeks I had it removed and replaced with this wonderful device. OMG I absolutely love this thing! It took about 2 solid weeks for it to learn my routine and it seriously learned it! It goes to 78 when I leave (what I set it at when I'm away) and at some point before I get home it drops to 74 (which is what I like it to be at when I'm home). Then around bedtime it drops to 72 (my sleeping temp). And I can control it anytime, from anywhere, on my phone. I also love that it works with Alexa!

I bought one nest 3.0 and 3 “e” class stats during the upgrade of a 50 year old boiler for baseboard heating. The app has worked well so far, a couple crashes, but mobile adjustment and geofencing seem to be working right. It seems to have quickly figured out the warm up cycle but hasnt dialed in the overshoot yet, but seems to be dialing it in and may yet work out. Chose this one over some Honeywell products which the installer wanted to use. I can’t say how much energy they are saving because my new boiler is far more efficient, but I can say that the UI is easy to use and the manufactured quality is pretty good. Nest logos aren’t perfectly centered at the 12 position on the face, but close. Otherwise look and feel on the all black is quite good.

Just recently got this thermostat installed. So far, we really do like the looks, ease of operation, and overall features.

Works great , smart way to control your ac. Really helpful while outside your home

Installation and set up were easy enough. Being able to control my thermostat remotely is a definite plus.
