Love my nest thermostat. Works with my 2 wire furnace. I like the design of this model better than the new one. I like how solid and well built it is. I can change my settings from anywhere I have cellphone service. Easy to program.

Works well and allows easdy changes. Helps improve the ever expanding smart features available to save energy.

I already see a change in my electric bill after one month. The programming feature is fine, but when I forget to turn it up when I’m at work, I often look to see it already changed the temp for me. Have the option to see the current weather and forecast in the main screen is also nice. Installation is SUPER EASY!!

So this thermostat is the first one I’ve ever installed/replaced. It was very easy to do and I labeled my wires with the provided stickers. Literally walks you through everything step by step once it’s on. There’s not much else to say about the install itself. This device looks very nice! Has a big/bright display, has tons of options and settings depending on your needs and temperature habits. I’m actually very impressed with the unit itself. I’m used to either older digital models or the ones filled with mercury. So this is like looking into the future. I have not downloaded the app because currently I still prefer manually turning the dial. Which is fun to do nonetheless. There are settings galore and I do think the nest would be useful to many households. It is also supposed to help save money over time, not overnight. Calculate the costs and find how many months or years it takes to pay for itself. Anything saved after that is dollars in your pocket. My complaint would be to add a single temperature sensor in the box, without spending the extra money on the upgraded package. It does have one built into it, but honestly how many homes have the thermostat in an odd spot? In an area that isn’t used often or doesn’t get enough airflow for accurate temps? Other than that I’m very happy with my nest purchase, it looks sleek and offers many settings for every temperature need I’ll ever have. Have a bright future and smart home!

I love this thermostat. It's exactly what you'd expect if it had the Apple logo on it. It's very intuitive which makes it easy to use. Once it's been connected to your home network, you can change the temperature of your home from your phone from anywhere in the world. The only reason I'm deducting a star is that my first Nest thermostat's wifi chip stopped working after a couple years. The thermostat itself still worked but I no longer had remote access to it and since it was outside the warranty period, I had no choice but to purchase another unit. Here's hoping my new one doesn't have it's wireless chip burn-out after a couple of years.

Excellent thermostat help to monitoring your use and remotely control your unit, easy to install with the nest app. the only thing I don't like is the price.

Absolutely love this thermostat. Bought it before Black Friday and I wish I waited since it went down $50 on price for Black Friday. Otherwise this thermostat is absolutely fantastic, i love the different displays it shows when you walk near it. From weather, clock, temperature, etc… the use with the Nest and Home app are incredible. Love the learning schedule it has. The one thing I didn’t like was that went we had a power outage for less than 3 hours the battery showed that it was low on power and after power came back the internet didn’t rebooted and it said it was off line and I had to manually set up internet again. Other than that, the thermostat is absolutely fantastic on normal operation

I had trouble at first getting the device to connect to the nest application. other than that, installation was pretty easy and it is function pretty well. Very clean design and feels like great quality as well.

I like being able to control it from my phone, I like the learning habits with temperature. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something just smart and simple. Nothing like the old thermostats we’ve been used to. Also, super easy setup!

Easy to install. Easy to use and LOVE the app to be able to control it when when im not home.

my wife helped install. She agreed very easy. Directions go step by step. tell you where to put wires and easy to uninstall if you are moving. When returning from out of town can go on app and start cooling before you get home.

The thermostat looks great on the wall and is easy to operate. The mobile app seems clunky and surprisingly outdated for a device with Google branding and backing. While it has been working without issue, I'm skeptical that there will be too many REAL tangible advantages.

Nest was super easy to install and set up! I love that I am able to program it and operate it remotely. It also came with a thermostat sensor. I never would have thought of getting one and now I want more for the other rooms in the house.

Make use of the AEP rebate and this is well worth it. This is far and above the easiest thermostat to install I have encountered. No instructions were included, a simple QR code and some moments to get your bearings and you're on your way! The ordering of the wall plate and what screws to use is important, so I would not try and guess how to go about it. The nicest feature of this is when it is setting up and has been, it takes into account the wiring you have available and once wired at any given time will show you the active connections. The 3rd gen uses USB micro to charge and does *not* come with a cable FYI. Other than that, this thermostat is pretty standard in all homes. AEP offers a rebate at any given time because they want everyone to have one!

This Nest Thermostat is very easy to install and work with my current furnace since it only required 2 wires. I bought another Nest but it's not compatible with my furnace.

This thermostat has been a lifesaver. Too many times we have left the house without turning off the AC, but that all stopped, when we purchased the learning thermostat. It has also learned our routines in a matter of weeks, so we don’t have to adjust it near as often as we previously did. Also, the ease of using a phone or Google Home to adjust it from wherever you are cannot be beat. It has already diagnosed issues with our unit, that would have gone unnoticed and eventually costed us more in money to fix over time. We have already saved the cost of the item itself, in a little more than a month’s time. It is very easy to install and setup. Mine only took twenty minutes. It is a must have for smart homeowners.

Its super easy to install and use. The app control is nice though there's issues setting programs and having more than one appear. Could be related to experimenting with the eco mode, which doesn't do anything really for us.

I had the first generation which worked great but needed to upgrade in order to use the remote sensor. This thermostat looks even better on the wall and the screen is more clear. Great product which works just as described.

Works great and makes your home look luxurious. I have a two story home and buying two units is quite costly but it helped my AC system
