This is a great thermostat. Easy to install, easy to program and hands off once everything is setup. I installed it for a neighbor who is in his early 90’s. He loves it. No need to consistently play with it. Set it and forget it. The install was super easy. Took a picture of the old wiring and sent it to Nest and they sent me a wiring diagram with the proper install. Had it installed and running in 20 minutes. Neighbor also received credit from electronic company for having a smart thermostat.

The units were easy to install and everything you need comes in the box. I recommend checking the wiring on Nest's site before buying to ensure your unit is compatible. The installation took about 5 minutes and another 5 minutes to configure. No issues reported and I do not have any negatives about the units. There's an energy usage monitor so I'm estimating that I'll probably make up for the cost of the unit in a year or a little beyond. The biggest savings I'll find is with the ability to turn the unit off and remote activate when your an hour away returning from a vacation.

Works as expected. Great packaging, easy to install, great integration with other products. Love the nest sense features like auto away and learning features. Highly recommend.

I have owned the Nest since the first version was released. I was given the Pro Version as a Christmas gift 2 years ago. So I knew this is a trusted product to purchase and provide as a gift to my daughter as a new home owner. She always said she wanted to have here very own Nest Thermostat and now she does. This Nest Thermostat does what it says. Super easy to adjust and does learn and provide a great way to save on your energy bill. The local power company even offers a small discount on your bill for installing this product.

This is the second unit I bought. I love how easy it is to set up and use. Just make sure you have the right type of power (If you have 120V, this is not for you). One of my favorite features is how it learns your schedule and it adapts based on your preferences. One other cool feature is that if you have Nest home protect (Smoke/Carbon Monoxide detector), and you have your alarm go off, it will automatically shut off your furnace/AC unit. One hint I can give you is to use the far side feature. It makes the digits bigger, easier to see from far away.

Our old thermostat was starting to act up and we decided to take the plunge and add the Nest thermostat. To be honest I held off because it felt like I was splurging to replace a thermostat was working properly but now I wish I had replaced it sooner. Installation could not have been easier and now when I'm in bed I don't have to get up to turn the temperature up or down.

So far so good! Works as advertised definitely would recommend it. Extremely easy to install, waiting on utility bill to see what savings it causes

Talk about convenience, away from home for the day and plans change, connect to the thermostat with my smartphone with either the auto away feature or just tell it to set to Away, coming home sooner than expected, that's covered too with my smartphone. Staying up later than usual and feeling a little chilly, talk to Amazon Echo and say "Alexa, Nest 72" and watch the NEST light up and go to work. Over time I see adding Nest Protect and cameras. I love that I can see my usage on my phone or computer. Installing the NEST was so easy and there are plenty of videos and help available, if needed, on the NEST website.

I have nothing bad to say about this product. I have been eyeing it for a long time I'm researching it against other similar systems before finally settling on it. Installation, set up and use our a breeze. My thermostat is located 2 levels down from my bedroom. It's great to just shout to Alexa to turn down the heat or turn it up in the middle of the night instead of having to trek down stairs. I am very appreciative of the away/home assist feature, as well. It keeps me from wasting money on heating an empty house and it the scheduling/gps location has been such an enormous help. Good product!

Great product. I love to control from my google home with my voice. Easy install. And Im writing a review for a chance to win $400 gift card cuz i forgot to pay off this thing on my card and i had min on auto pay since july ;(

This was supposed to be easy to install. It would have been had I not popped the fuse on the heater. Once fixing that it works great. Easy to connect online.

Bought my first Nest from Best Buy as I always have been impressed with the technology. Had trouble installing it due to glitch with the wiring but overall pretty easy to install and set up. Looks cool and easy to manage through the app or directly, ended by buying and installing three of them.

I've had this Nest for over 6 months now and it's the best Smart Thermostat I've owned. Easy to operate, easy to setup (if you have a little know-how), and has great quality. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is due to the Routine setting. It tries to learn your daily routine which is great but sometime it does it TOO well and if you happen to change the temperature to a certain degree two days in a row, it thinks that you want it set at the temperature every day after that, which not everyone does, so I disabled that feature. Using the Google Home app is also a breeze, so you can change it on the go or if you're too lazy to get up and change it yourself. The thermostat works with both Google Home and Alexa, but I did not set it up with Apple Homekit.

Love this update!! The nest is very easy to install and work with. The app that goes along with this device is amazing for when you need to adjust the temperature in the middle of the night but don't want to get out of the bed. It also will learn your comfortable temperature level in the home and compare it to cost efficient temperature level and give you recommendation temps to save money on the electric bill!

really great modern thermostat. much better than the old school types

Extremely user friendly and easy to install. Nest package comes with back plate, screws, and even screw driver and built in leveler. I was not sure if the Nest would be compatible with my unit, so I called the company directly. They were great. I sent them a picture of my unit and wires, and within 2 minutes they sent me back a personalized wire configuration map. They even sent a follow up email to make sure I was able to install correctly. I have only been using for a few weeks, but I am already starting to save money and energy! I will be buying a second Nest soon for my upstairs unit.

I bought Nest thermostat and couldn’t be happier. It looks good and I can control thermostat right from my phone. It saves me from taking stairs.

I jus repurchased my third nest (I had to leave my other 2 at the house we just sold). It's a great product. Easy to install and set up. Highly recommend this product.
