I Love my NEST Thermostat, especially using it with GoogleHome. If I forget to turn down the heat before leaving the house, I can do it remotely, or set it automatically turn down the heat when I leave the house. ... andI love the "History" that shows daily usage. Based on my satisfaction of this product, I've now purchased the NEST Smoke/CO Alarm, and am looking forward to purchasing more products from NEST.

These are the best WiFi thermostats I used. Easy to set up and use.

May be a bit difficult to set up if your current thermostat is older 2 wire. The multiple choices of connections on the nest can be confusing. The web was not entirely helpful , however, the schematic on the Nest screen itself gave needed input to install correctly for heating only. Once installed, it works perfectly. Good metrics on usage and the "Away" function should help with managing overall heating cost.

The Nest is very nicely packaged, easy to set-up assuming you can do basic electrical work. I replaced a standard thermostat and the instructions are very clear. Before unpackaging I recommend going to https://nest.com/works/ to see if your wiring is compatible. Once set-up the onscreen guide helps you through everything else to check heating and cooling all work together.

This is a wonderful product. I love the fact that after it learns your routine, it adjusts your heat and air the way you like it. It also adjusts itself to an economy mode when you are away from home, if you choose to activate that option.

Bought it on Black Friday - Very easy to install. Works out of the box. Already seeing energy saving benefits. Wish it would not just control the thermostat but also control the Water heater

Perfect for room not used often. I got this for our basement which not used often so it uses it sensors to save energy but also keep the basement at a optimal temperature

Just had the Nest Learning Thermostat - 3rd Generation - Copper Installed a week ago and I am in 2 to 3 week period where the thermostat learns my heating and cooling habits. So far, its working fabulously and I've do no changes; like it already knows what I like. Way, way cool! The copper version I have looks really awesome in my Arts & Crafts style home.

It was easy to install and had it up and running in about 1/2 hour. Great product.

I upgraded my three thermostats to the Nest learning version. I am generally not one to go too far into connectivity in my home, but the features on this are great. It really does learn your patterns and make adjustments to the temperature. I have noticed some energy savings.

Was so happy to move back into my home and install this. I can hit the app and turn on my AC unit so that house is much cooler when I get home from work than waiting to turn it on when I got home. Easy to install and operate via mobile phone.

Anyone with an old-fashioned thermostat simply doesn't know what they are missing. Even when I purchased this product, I was not aware of all the useful, easy functions that were available. While a bit more expensive than the competition, it's worth every penny. In fact, I recommend replacing even perfectly working thermostats with the Nest 3rd Generation.

This is my 3rd nest - I won't buy any other smart thermostat since this one is easy to use and install. I had a hard time installing 1 since I have a dual system in the house. If anyone reads my review and needs help with the dual system feel free to email me. I'll tell you, finding what to do online was a nightmare and you will not figure it out unless you get lucky and a professional nest installer tells you what to do.
