Good looking thermostat that is easy to control from your mobile device. Easy installation

Before I purchased Nest, I was very apprehensive about installing it by myself. There is no way I am paying $200+ to have this item installed. However, Nest has a very good 6-minute video that walks you through how to install Nest from beginning to end. After watching that, I felt more confident, but I was still worried about drilling a hole in my wall (sheet rock). I was able to communicate with Nest representative right away - they have 24/7 service - and have my questions answered. The day I installed Nest I was able to walk through each step carefully as provided by the instruction, and when I got stuck I was able to call the Nest rep immediately. Within 45 minutes my Nest was up and running, and I have 0 handyman skills. There was very little to set up, and I really enjoyed how Nest learned my preferences after a week, and I was able to adjust it once the weather changed. I also felt my AC wasn't blasting air as violently as it was using the old thermostat, and my house is feeling more comfortable when I arrive home. I haven't had Nest long enough to see any bill changes yet, but with how much setting you can use the Nest for I think I can adjust it enough to start saving me some money. P.S.: Nest also works seamlessly with my Amazon Echo, and it really feels great to be ablet to control your AC by voice.

The thermostat Nest is easier to adjust and works wonders when you need to adjust the settings when not at home. Also I see the savings on my electric bill.

This is the first Internet connected thermostat that I have purchased. In the past, I simply purchased programmable thermostats. I just moved to Arizona where it can 90 during the and 50 at night. I wanted a thermostat that will automatically switch between heat and cool. This thermostat works great, nice that is connects to wifi and can be controlled via Amazon Echo as well.

This thermostat has been such an upgrade over my standard from its features to its ease of installation, intergeation into the Nest system and finally its aesthetic which is beautiful.

This creation is the best thing ever! It was easy to install, the online program helped tremendously since we have an older system. The convenience of being able to adjust the heat from my bed is delightful.. you don't realize how convenient it is until you're tucked in your warm bed and the outside air is chilly. Stay in bed, warm up the house, get up tada... heaven! Also being able to warm the home while your out.. what can I say, spoiled and worth it. I love this it!!

Purchased the Nest Learning Thermostat to replace an earlier version that had stopped working after several years. Installation was a snap including connecting to wifi which now can be accomplished from the Nest app…a major improvement from the previous one. The ability to control the device from the app is a major convenience.

I bought this 3rd gen Nest for my mother in law but have owned 1st and 2nd gen Nests in my other homes. Installation is pretty simple and it has worked with both of the systems I've connected them to. After a few weeks, Nest learns your schedule and starts setting temperatures for you (as well as turning off the heat/Air conditioning when you're not home). I don't have an apples to apples comparison year over year but it feels as if my utility bills were a bit cheaper.

This was super easy to install. I’m not handy and it took less than 10 minutes. I used the included wall plate to cover up the holes in my wall. Looks really good. We love the ability to change the temperature from anywhere. We also synced with Alexa. It’s really great and highly recommend.

It’s always awesome to regulate my thermostat, in these winter months, from the comfort of my bed. Works as it should. Like that you can have an automatic schedule: Don’t use the function but it’s good to know it’s there. It was a pretty straight forward installation from my handyman. He watched the video and installed. Could have probably done it myself.

I never thought I'd be be so happy purchasing a thermostat but this thermostat is awesome. It took be a whole 5 minutes to wire it up and 15 minutes for the one time set up. I have already noticed a reduction on my heating bill. You also have the option to set the thermostat away from home via your smartphone. It tells you the outside temperature as well. This has to be one of if not the best purchase I've made this year. Don't settle for anything less than NEST!

Have two of these. Easy to install, use, and works great! Modern design and convenient functionality.

It's expensive, and I didn't need a new thermostat - but this was easy to install, it looks great, and I enjoy the way it works. Remains to be seen if it saves me any money on my utility bills.

This thermostat is great looking, does everything as advertised, and beat part is really easy to install.
