Switched my “old fashioned” thermostat to this one and yes it’s amazing and easy to use. You can adjust your home temperature from anywhere including your bed at night if it gets to hot or cold.

Got this thermostat at Black Friday deal and the installation was so easy. There's an app that runs you through the whole installation fairly easy and quick. The device self learns your home size and how long it takes to cool/heat your home so that you can better adjust the temperature for energy saving. It works with my Amazon Echo so that is a great plus! You can even change temperatures from your bed with the phone app. Amazing thermostat!

I have now had this device for a couple of years, and actually purchased one recently for my father ( it is that simple to use once set, as he is not tech savvy at all ) The installation is relatively simple, if you follow the guides that come with the product, or you can always use youtube as their is plenty of assistance there as well if you feel intimidated by installing this without previous HVAC experience. I personally have none, and had it up and working within 15 minutes. - I won't go on about all of the features, as you can read that anywhere, what I will say is that I have seen a SIGNIFICANT reduction in my heating and cooling bill since I purchased this. First it makes changing time of day temperature scheduling a breeze, so unlike most units where you would set it and thats it forever, this is so easy you feel comfortable modifying it through out the year. Second, it learns when you are away and your schedule over time, to help turn off and on heating or cooling automatically. At first there were a few times when I would say wow it is cold in here and see that the heat had been turned off, so I would turn it back on - but after a bit it had become very accurate. Third you get a report from NEST monthly informing you of your usage and some simple breakdowns of why you saved or used more. It is a great way to get simple insight into your patterns to help adjust a bit. I literally paid for this unit within the first year. Also to boot, many power companies offer rebates to get these, as even they recognize how cost effective they are in the end!

I am certainly glad i purchase this product because i can set it days in advance and adjust it as needed. Technology is amazing and this particular product is better because even when the wifi is out it still works as needed.

Absolutely love this product. Wish I would have changed my thermostat along time ago. The install was very easy and looks much more modern. But not only does it look nice but is very convenient. When you are driving home on a hot day you can turn it on using the app and by the time you get home your home will be nice and cool.

The Nest is simple to install, simple to use, looks beautiful, and saves money on HVAC costs!

I've held off on buying this for the longest time because I didn't want to spend the money. I regret not buying it sooner as it's so convenient to control from my phone and not have to get up in the middle of the night. It was really easy to set up, and I love the reports it gives me everyday, so I can track my usage. Best part is it works with my alarm company, ADT, and I can use Google Home to control it too!

Very stylish! Easy to install, I was able to do it myself. My previous thermostat was battery powered (so it lite up the dials) and I changed it out because the AC unit stopped turning on... no sound, nothing... making me suspect the thermostat was the issue. Now, I’m not sure if this is a flaw of the Nest thermostat or a perk... however, when I installed the device, the power did not come on. Called an AC person out to find that I had a blown fuse causing now power to reach the thermostat. Fuse replaced (AC companies really over charge for the little stuff), Nest powered on. Two days later, I get a yellow wire error on the Nest. This caused my unit to freak out, turning on and off as the error came and went. I struggled to get the app to allow me to turn the unit off to prevent the constant on and off issue, having to wait for the moment the error cleared for just enough time for me to raise the temp to aide in keeping the unit from trying to kick on. Read some Nest forums to find this to be a common issue, the yellow wire error. One person brought up a good point, maybe my old Thermostat was not “smart” enough to acknowledge the yellow wire issue, which may have been present all along? The yellow wire controls cooling, btw. Called the AC guy back out (more money, yay). Found out that I had an issue with my AC units contractor, a small $10 part that has connectors on both sides and copper coils inside. The coils had burned, literally. How does this even happen? My unit is only 7 years old. Needless to say, a $10 part cost me over $300 to fix... highway robbery!!! So I’m on the fence a bit? Thank you Nest for helping to identify an issue? Or thank you for causing it? Not sure! PROS: Ultimately, I love the thing. It’s cute. It goes to sleep and lights up when you are near. You can control it from you phone, away from home too. I like the option to turn on the fan to control humidity. CONS: Pricey! I should have opted out of getting the learning one because this feature just would not work correctly. I would wake up to extremely high heat settings, causing me to lose sleep... I never put the heat on at night, and def not at 76 if I ever had to, why would it automatically go there at 6am?? I felt like the thing had a mind of it’s own so I disabled it.

This is my second house that I have installed a Nest Thermostat, easy to install and very easy to setup. Not much else to do other than setting up the temperature schedule or leave it alone and adjust it as you go and it will really learn what temperature you like the house to be at certain times of each day of the week. Works great too with the app from a tablet or cellphone, great for lazy people that do not want to get up to adjust the temperature.

Looks good on the wall. Very easy to install and use. Lost of other smart devices can be used with it.

This Nest thermostat is working like a champ. I love the convenience of it and I like that it tracks my history so I can have an early estimate of what my power bill will be. I love that it shuts its self off when I forget and that I can change the temp or turn it off with out having to get up out of bed or move off the couch. Very handy when it's cold outside and I can turn it on 10 minutes before I get home. Little pricey but worth the convenience.

Love this! Just as easy to use as it is to install. The installation steps are all on the app. It is step by step. There's even pictures for those hesitant on installing this on their own. Very easy to setup and operate through the app. Set a schedule on the app. Very convenient.

I purchased two of these. They were very easy to install and work great. They also look great. I watched a YouTube video to learn how to install them and it was pretty self explanatory. The app is easy to navigate. Love the fact that it learns how you like the temp and then keeps it that way to save you money. it also learns when you are away and home via your cell phone to save you money. Love them.

Easy to control and read. Also, it looks like it will be saving energy. I like the fact that when I travel I can control and monitor the heating and air conditioning from my phone. I had it installed by Best Buy and the technician did a great job. I recommend this item for all these reasons and also looks great.
