Very complicated. Seams to want to operate its own way.

This was purchased as a gift for my parents and they absolutely love it. I also have a previous generation and it has cut my utility bill down significantly.

The Nest is definitely worth the money. I am projecting that the unit will pay for itself within 6 mos based on improved efficiency and the eco (away) feature.

It’s just wonderful to be able to make a schedule of temperatures on an hourly and daily basis for my home! So nice to get up in a warm house!

Appeared to be a hood unit but not compatible to my system with two zones. Needed to buy a new board for additional $160 decided to return unit. Make sure it’s compatible to your system before you buy

I love that I can monitor the thermostat from my phone and I can turn it on cool so when I get home on a hot day the house doesn't need time to cool down.

I didn't get it how it works, but easy to install.

We travel a good bit and I wanted a thermostat I could control via connecting to the internet. Read the info/reviews on this one and bought it. Had it professionally installed for $90 by the folks that service my geo-thermal unit. Worked well for four days and then stopped. Tried various approaches to no avail. Called the installers and they said that they have heard similar issues. Had them come to the house and U.N.-install the unit — another $90. Got a Honeywell unit when I replaced the geo-thermal and it works PERFECTLY!!!

Great thermostat , my wife loves it because it does a great job scheduling when we want the house cool or warm by the time we get home.

I purchased this thermostat with the hope of saving on my electric bill but this has not been the case. Not really sure if its the thermostat or my heating and cooling unit. I do love the convenience of not having to get out of bed to control unit.

I have not yet installed this product as it is a new build.

Solid thermostat. Been very happy with the eco mode while away. Haven't gotten the first power bill yet but to me it seems our air conditioner runs much less.

I have yet to install this product. I know it will live up to expectations and I cannot wait to see how it adjusts to what I like. this will be a treat.

It is very easy to control the thermostat from whereever you are.

Highly recommend this for your home. It helps not only save on your electricity bill but also helps prolong the life of the AC unit. Great buy

Highly recommend this thermostat. This is the 2nd Nest that I've purchased and couldn't be happier with the features. No C-Wire required either!

The most convenient thermostat. It's very intuitive in terms of user interface and the app is simple to use.

Definitely my favorite thermostat. I am a fan of the single system integration.

I think the core product itself is fantastic. It's literally like a volume knob for your home temperature. I think the ability of it to toggle on and off as you go in and out of your home is a great money saving green feature. I also think having the ability to set a zone of the temperature you would like is great and pre heating or pre cooling your home when leaving work is an added bonus. I do find that using the full extent of the application however is not the most user friendly. I am a techy so I figured it out but I had a hard time trying to set hours on the calendar. It is learnable but it will take a lot of getting used to for the less tech savvy.
