It would get five stars if it would work with the Apple HomeKit. Other than that this is fantastic. I've used a programmable thermostat for years that wasn't user friendly. Nest takes it to a whole new level. IoT, ability to check and control from app remotely. Learns habits. Extremely easy to set up. Couldn't ask for much more.

By far one of the best investments for your home,!!! Very easy installation and setup by both keeping your house either warm or cool when needed and making sure not to use as energy when you're not home. I leave mine set at 70° during the winter when I am home as soon as I leave the temperature drops to 60° and then by the time I even get back home it is back at 70 nice and cozy not to mention both of my utility companies have given me rebates because the thermostat will use less energy during peak hours this is a must get well worth the cost

Very easy to install yourself as long as you have the proper type wiring. Web link guides you to which color wires go where on the Nest for your particular set up. Only had it set up for a few weeks but it seems to be saving me energy/money and is easy to use with your phone on the Nest app.

So this was an add on item when I purchased a Vivint home security system. I love that you just set it and forget it, very easy to use. So cool that it lights up at night when you walk by it. Within a week it learns your routines and I also applied and received a $50 check from my gas company , bonus !!

My non-handy husband easily installed 2 of these thermostats in our 2-story home. It was pretty quick and easy. They connected to our Wifi with no issue. I programmed them using the app, and it was super easy, unlike our prior thermostat. It's great seeing energy usage via the app. They work great!

Installed one Nest thermostat and set the schedule function for our AC. Three days later, bought a second unit for our second floor. Very pleased with the operation and ease of installation. It took less than 20 minutes to install each one. Both are working great and we can monitor the house from our smartphones.

Love this. We have radiant heat floors and it works well with them. It also looks great on the wall! Really like the ability to control house temps when we are away.

Have loved using this thermostat. Great to change when I’m gone and have been very pleased with stability of the connection. I have a somewhat complicated setup with a dual fuel furnace and it works great and is super customizable.

Purchased this in order to better regulate the temperature in the house. This thermostat has helped lower energy costs in both summer and winter. The ability to change and set the temperature from an iPhone app is also very useful.

We have Vivint Security systems for about four years now. We were using their Thermostats before . Recently We changed it to Nest Thermostat and the results are aw some. It's worth spending a little more for this Excellent Thermostat.

Unfortunately when I first installed it, it completely blew a fuse in my HVAC but after I replaced it in 5 min it worked perfectly fine. Stylish and simple to use. Has helped allot with energy conservation in our new home. It was a good purchase

Love this thermostat. Ability to control the temperature remotely. Wish it would be easier to lock the temperature for times you are away. Need to do more reading to better utilize the learning option. Not convinced it does a good job of that. Also seems like the temperature needs to be higher than our old digital thermostat.

I would recommend this product to anyone that is thinking about switching out there older thermostats for a much smarter thermostat. After I finally got the Nest installed, I have not in any shape or form, regretted it. I will say that the instruction manual is very informational, except for a very small fact. If you do not have AC, do not hook up the White wire, because it will send an error code to the thermostat, and it will not work properly. If you have any issues at all, contact and ask for tech support from Nest, because the gentleman I spoke to new my HVAC system like the back of his hand. One other small note. Try not to cut back all of your wiring because you may need some extra wire that can break off and you won't have it. Even though I did this, the technician told me what to do to resolve that issue and it was absolutely simple. It's nice to be able to turn on your fan, air conditioning, or the heat from the convenience of your phone.

I have used other brand smart thermostats and this by far is the best. It has eco modes that allow you to set it for when your not home. The app works perfectly with it as well. The best part is the easy installation and set up. Got it up and running in less than 15 minutes.

Very easy to use thermostat and I really like the eco mode. I also like that it shows you your usage day to day! Extra perk to be able to control it from your smartphone.

Love the whote google best thermostat. Goes well with our asthetics. The app makes it so much easier to use.
